Hello everyone,
I have an O2 XDA Orbit with the OS in English. I reside in the US and my carrier is t-mobile. They have tried to help me in every way possible with the settings for MMS with no luck. Does any body have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? I can not send or receive MMS although I can browse the internet without any problems. I will really appreciate anybody’s help. Thank you.

There are also some drawbacks, I had a problem with my O2 GPRS settings going awry.... but managed to for is myself....
O2 Data support told me that I had to do a hard reset.... yeah right !
o2 Data Support are, in my experience, a joke. However, counting a former DS guy as a friend of mine, it isn't normally due to any lacking of understanding on their part. If anything they seem constrained in what they can do by o2.
Yeah the GPRS settings are handy, but if you search on these forums for them it is often hard to find the definitive setup details. We could still use an FAQ section...talk about that seems to have died again, despite my (amongst many others) offer of help to set these up.
Cheers

Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself in my first post. My name is Rick and I a proud owner of a new HTC P3300 Artemis. I love this phone! Its so nice to finally have a complete all in one device in my pocket. Now the question I have for you all is how do I get MMS to work on this phone? I tried looking up the settings and no matter what I put in, I can't get it to work. This is T-mobile USA by the way. Thanks for all the help anyone can give me!
Hello, I am also the proud owner of an O2 XDA Orbit (the compatible model of yours) and as much as I love my new phone I am also experiencing the same problem with MMS. Nobody seems to be able to help me with this issue. Were you able to find some answers or solution? I will appreciate it if you let me know. Thank you.

I have the o2 Orbit and a Vodafone contract SIM. I lost power the other day and had to input all my Vodafone settings manually. Is it possible to develop a cab file that will do all this for the phone? The cab file could be stored on an SD card. If power is ever lost or a hard reset is required in the future it would then only take a quick fix to update the phone.
I found all the settings at this address (if it helps?)

Hi all,
Firstly I would like to say thanks for a great forum which has improved my experience of using this phone.
I have managed to upgrade to the most recent HTC rom though this website and have also tried out many of the other ROM's on my previous MDA Vario (HTC Wizard). So overall, I guess I am trying to say that I'm not a total noob.
However, the only problem I'm seem to be having is with my MMS & GPRS settings. I have searched the forums and entered in the UK T-Mobile settings for MMS & GPRS but I still cannot get it to work. I receive the message 'Error Synchronizing". I have also tried sending a picture message through the wireless internet connection rather than WAP but still to no avail.
I would appreciate any help or advice. (sorry for the long post)
BUMP - this seems to be a common problem reading through the forums ?
Does anyone have any adivce ?
try using the search tools.. i was browsing through the web e other time, i have seen somebody guiding the mms & gprs settings. will be posting the link again if i found it..
Thanks for the reply. I already used the search an inputted the settings from another post (cant find it right now) I also followed the user guide to manually configuring the gps & mms from the Handbook but no luck.
EDIT - MMS ISSUES FIXED by installing program in this thread

Hi all I've been a member here since my first HTC8525 and all of you have helped me tremendously. But today I believe I need to ask for help. I just recently purchased a T-mobile HTC Touchpro 2 and brought it back to Canada to run on the Rogers network. I have unlocked the phone and set up everything fine. My only problem is that I cannot change the MMS setting in the phone Tmob has locked them out. Could anyone point me in the right direction. I have searched the threads and to no avail. Any help at all is greatly appricated. Sorry if i am repeating earlier threads.
same issue here, im trying to change the setting on my tp2 but it is locked for changes, i cant even add a new setting.
i did the changes when i had my tilt 2 but here i can't any help please.
thanks in advance
sorry for posting it when the answer was already there. but anyway you can change some of the settings via registry.
hkey local machine/software/arcsoft mms ua/config/
hope it's helpfull
then what
what other steps do you take after that?
Unlocking the device via Hard SPL to accept other ROMs will allow you to flash any of a ton of ROMs for this device that allow editing of MMS settings. Most custom ROMs are faster, lighter, and generally prettier than the stock one. Otherwise, as I recall, you'll need the IP address from the cell network to change the MMS gateway in the registry. Good luck getting that from a carrier.
