I have 2 issues in WM6 2.00.04:
1) Can sync for file and other program, but have issue in sync with Outlook in contact and calendar. happened in this version. hard reset can not help, already tried. have the Microsoft Supporting Code as 80070006
2) for all version of WM6.0, the EXT ROM can be shown as 9.93M, also can copy files into this place, but after reboot, whole things are gone.
I saw one friend here esclated same issue of Supporting Code: 80070006, but looks no any idea from experts here.

I have arcsoft 3.5.1.5 but as OEM for cooking in the ROM. But I have noticed that 3.5.1.5 has a major problem. It stores an incoming MMS in a folder called "New". The message gets transfered to "Inbox" only after it is read. As a result the notification which used to come so far in the messaging (today plugin) or any other today plugin (like SPB diary,PB or any other) does not come. Thats why I have come back to 3.0.7.19.

Uploading issues. You have to simply download all three and run winrar. They shall join to become one automatically...

I installed the Cab (install to: device) on my unlocked X02HT with dopod rom.
Turned the device off and on again but no change.
I am using FuseSP and PocketDOS and still both have this annoying numeric keyboard problem
Or does this hack only fix the Yahoo Go and WLS issues?
On my HTC S630 it fixed the problem I had with Yahoo Go, I really don't know if this fixes other apps (this should fix the input problems in the textboxes in .Net bassed apps, but I haven't tried any other) and if this works with other ROMs apart from HTC's one, I guess is just a matter of testing it.
The instructions that I have from that forum are:
- copy the .cab to your phone
- run the .cab with File Explorer to install it
- restart your phone (or shut it off, then turn it back on)
- it should work after that

does not work somehow on my x02ht dopod rom
as mentioned before i tried it with my x02ht with dopod rom. i did not try it with yahoo go but with other apps i had this numeric key problem with and there was no change...
funny thing is i can install the .cab file as often as I want to. It looks like it installs fine. And then just for fun if I click the cab again after reboot it installs it again. It does not tell me it is already installed even after installing it for the x-time. Is this normal? I tried to installl to device and storage card. no change.

This issue has been addressed in various posts throughout the forum. Next time just try to use the search feature and you may find the answer to what you seek. Anywho, here are the instructions to increase your MMS sending size limit...
1) Using a registry editor (such as Resco Registry, Total Commander) you'll need to edit a couple of registry values.
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKLM)\SOFTWARE\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\T-Mo MMS (whatever you've named your MMS GPRS setting)
3) Change "WAP1SendDefaultSize" from '102400' to '307200'. Also, change "WAP2SendDefaultSize" from '102400' to '307200'. After making these changes--reboot the phone.
4) Your MMS messages should now allow you to increase your sending size to 300K.

Im trying to update to 6.1 using RUU_Excalibur_WM61_Kavana_Rickys_v24_Opera
I have read the FAQ's that rickywatt posted , but I am still confused and im not sure about the steps that follow after unlocking the Dash. I have downloaded SDA application unlock and SurrealNetworksAppUnlock.cab and of course Ricky's RUU_Excalibur_WM61_Kavana_Rickys_v24_Opera
According to the FAQ that rickywatt has
i did the following:
"... install SurrealNetworksAppUnlock.cab to your phone then extract
SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe from SDA_ApplicationUnlock.zip then
connect usb from computer to your phone wait for ActiveSync to connect once

What he really means is keep hitting your space bar. The grammar in that auto.bat file is confusing at first -- I thought I had to follow the instructions and manually run the programs the .bat file was talking about. No, instead the only action you really have to take (other than connecting your phone) is hitting the center button once to get to the white screen; the rest just happens with you pressing any key to keep the batch file going.

Yes... Just flash the 6.0 ROM back to your phone. If you're with T-Mobile, it can be found on the T-Mobile site.

anyone else having sudden changes in timezone after installing rickys 6.1?

hey ricky thx for the update... is there a way to switch t9 on sms to Spanish?... the intuitive language is english and is annoying when typing a sms.
Also, the "play" music & video option has no associated file and prompts and error same thing with "Word".

Having an issue with making a ringtone.
I copied an mp3 to applicationData/Sounds
But when going to Settings > Sounds...I cannot find the mp3 in there. Only the basic 5 options appear.

I've installed Rickeys other Roms but having a hard time on a new dash. I've app unlocked the phone downloaded the zip and try to run the .dat and I get the black box follow the prompts then get error cant find romupdateutility.exe.
So I try and run the update utility manually I get to about three % then get the 270 error. re install the surell .cab file run the sda app unlocked and same issue. Error 270 also is the mirror working? Can anyone send me a working RUU.zip
IN the roms you have listed i didnt notice anyone talking about the features im looking for i hae flashed the rom.I know what to do and what not to do,the only thing i couldnt seem to find was the program for internet sharing to be able to use my phone as a modem,ths feature has to be ther for me to use these roms.any ideas on this ricky,and if you have time could you direct me to your rom that has these features in it..its a must for me,i installed kavanas rom last night,worked well,loved the slide features,and the many other features,was plenty fast for me,the only thing i couldnt find was the sharing program,any help would be nice thanks...

When you push Start and go to the Accessories folder you will see the program for Internet Sharing. It's in both V24 ROMs.

make sure you select the correct phone settings when selecting from the yahoo go 3.0 website. select Htc then Hermes. choosing at&t then 8525 didnt work for me.

Yep same eaxct problem here on V20/V21: Yahoo! Go loads fine but it crashes when trying to login on PDAViet V20, V21 Hermes100.
Each time I try to log in Y!Go just crashes and disapears. I have tried every install combinations: to the Device, on the MicroSD card, release 2.0 and 3.0, on 3G and WiFi I/F
I am guessing it's due to V20/V21 ROM compressed file storage or an encription issue for the login credentials.
I have searched the forum and "Yahoo! Answers" but could not find anything related. Houch! I really want to synchronize my all my contacts with this Go 2.0 thing. What is frustrating is I don't know of anyway to log this crash for troubleshooting.

I have not had Yahoo!go working for me for a long time since 19588 build of MS OS, wonder why I may ask yahoo.
Edit, this solution actually works for all versions of MS build.
just FYI
Yahoo! go works with all ROMs, you need .net configurator to choose .net 2.0 (hence needing this installed) first upon setup of Yahoo! Go, once set up, you can change the configurator to 3.5 and uninstall .net 2.0 and your machine will run fine after that without the two .net installed. It only needs it during setup.
