I understand that you hadn't to hard reset the jasjar after upgrade it with this radio. Please confirm and if is any tricks to apply.
As you can see below, I have radio 1.04.10 installed. Anybody know the differences between these 2 loads?
Thanks in advance (obrigado). BetoX

I've been using radio: 1.06.00 since Tuesday or Wednesday without problems. Hasn't fixed nor broken anything as far as I can see.
Radio 1.06.00 was issued as part of the recent German MDA update.
[No message]
Yes, ist working, had to do the update several times, like 10x, before it was installed, soft reset ......and.....IT'S ALIVE
thanks
Thanks, ncruz! the radio upgrade on my MDA Pro worked flawlessly on the first attempt. My device information now shows:
ROM version: 1.13.69 WWE
ROM date: 10/12/05
Radio version: 1.06.00
Protocol version: 42.37.P8
ExtROM version: 1.13.162 WWE
I was hoping the radio would solve a couple of issues I've mentioned on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=38876
but, unfortunately the wireless manager and bluetooth issues still persist.
Hi,
Removed SD and SIM cards.
However, as with my all Universal previous ROM upgrades (only Radio till now), I got several errors (114; 150;...) till succed. About 15 and long attempts.
Did you experience a similar problem?
Could it be related with device bootloader version (mine is v1.00). Does someone has a newer one?
Between some attempts and errors, I need to 'soft reset' or 'cold boot' in order to get a different error, and finally a succesfull attempt.
I've a Qtek 9000 with a TMN SIM (Portugal) and it works fine after upgrade.
Just in case, I want to give up in future similar operations, does someone knows how to get rid of the bootloader? Does an Hard Reset resolves? Is there any other way?
Error 114: Radio ROM update error
Error 150: ROM upgrade utility error
I "up?"graded to radio 1.06.
I found it in some conditions slower than 1.04.10, and when I use NovosecSmartFilter, it freezes when a call comes althogh it worked with the previous radio ROM.
Just for you to know...

I've noticed 2 times now (with hard resets between) that sometimes when I receive a call, my Contacts open and I can't close them. I can click the Start menu and run another app but then Contacts is brought to the front again. After enough clicking to close Contacts, the upper right corner quickly alternates between "OK" and "X" and I end up having to soft reset.
One thing that I did do differently is that I performed a soft reset prior to O2's extRom installation. Are there any 'fixes' in their extRom that I might need to manually install?
I'm thinking about going back down to 1.04.00 as I didn't have this problem prior. But I'd rather not downgrade.
I'm down?grading to 1.04.10 now....

It's looking for a serial (not available on Universal) or USB connection, so you'll need to connect to "ActiveStink" via USB cable. The "Serial" will normally change to "USB" when you plug USB in.
Unfortunately, I've never tried it with an *un-partnered* device stuck in bootloader mode - hopefully somebody else has.

RADIO VERSION 1.10.00
PROTOCOL VERSION 1337.18
EXT ROM VERSION 1.66.209
this is all the info that I can find hope it helps
hey guys
this is my first post here so i just wanna say how much information i have learned from this site and the forums. and i haved used the search function but after hours came up with nothing.
I have a MDA PRO Running the latest T-Mobile Rom, but its causing me so many problems.
It Takes forever to answer a call(around 10 secconds after ive pressed answer) it takes ages to open any applications. its just slow.
i was running the Imate rom before and was really happy with it. but there are some features that have come in the new t-moibile rom that i would like to keep such as the green battery icon and the "Soft Key" Application.
So i was thinking of only upgrading the extrom and the radio.
My current config is:
ROM VER : 1.30.114 WWE
Rom Date: 04/13/06
Radio : 1.10.03
Protocol Ver: 42.44.p8
EXT ROM VER : 1.30.232 WWE
I was looking to upgrade to either the QTEK or the IMATE rom b ut i wanted to know if ill still have the green abttery indicator and "soft Key" application as im not sure if they come with the rom or the OS. if not can anyone tell me where i can get them from plz.
Also alot of ppl are saying that radio 1.09 is the most stable, can anyone confirm this please.
Cheers guys
You will not get those features with the currently available Qtek or i-mate WWE.
I do however, have a suspicion (my spidey sense is tingling) that there will be new ROMs from within the next month and a half.
In the meantime, feel free to cook up your own.

I've had no issues with 1.09 radio
I am using this ROM (downloaded from my-xda.com)
Rom version: 1.40.00 WWE
Rom date: 03/10/05
Radio: 1.12.00
ExtRom: 1.40.242 WWE
After running windows media player for a while, my device partly loses voice. I can not hear the music, even the sounds when using menus. However, phone is still ok, even when speaker phone is activated.
Can you give a suggestion of what error this is? Is there any program conflict?I don't think of ROM error as it is official version downloaded from offcial website. I have also tried not using (not uninstall) spb Pocket plus (expert of causing conflicts) but still in vain.
Help me solve this problem, plzzzzzz
Thank you so much.
Help me plz!!!!!!!!

Hello Guys,
As you can see I'm new here. I'm from Brazil.
I would really appreciate you to help me - I've just registered in this forum and realized there are many different threads for similar subjects, and so I've got confused on what are the latest best practices to upgrade XDA Orbit to WM6.
I've bought a new O2 XDA Orbit (Artemis) on a Import GSM store in US and then brought it to Brazil where I installed a SIM card of TIM Brazil Network, and so I can conclude that even showing T-Mobile splash screen at POST, this is a SIM Unlocked Device.
After using WM5 for a period, I had started realizing some "bugs" on my device, and then started trying to get support from O2. (For example).:
- It always get GPRS instead of EDGE.
- GPS update does not work
- Wi-Fi not working as expected (sometimes it's necessary to reset the device to use Wi-Fi).
I've tried many times to register my device and get updates from O2 site(Asia, UK, etc) when I found a guy from O2 Germany who told me my device was originate there, after checking my IMEI - He also told me their WM ROMs are always German and guessed the store has replaced the ROM, considering my device has the English WM5 version.
I've tried running hard reset sometimes - it minimizes some of the problems but other.
So I would appreciate you to provide me some guidance to upgrade my device from WM5 to WM6. There are also many other friend of mine in Brazil who will be really happy to receive this information.
Here it goes some Device Information.:
Model: ARTE200
ROM version: 1.13.110.1 WWE
ROM Date: 9/22/06
Radio Version: 02.49.90
Protocoll Version: 4.1.13.25
ExtROM version: 1.13.110.101
OMAP850 / 201MHz / 64MB RAM / 128 MB Flash
Please do not hesitate to ask me further details.
I'd be very thankful for your help!
Kind Regards
SlyBrazil

just download the USPL , and run it while your device is connected to the pc. Just read the beginning of the thread and you'll found out how to do it.
After running the USPL, just download any WM6 rom you find HERE, and flash it to your phone.
Please don't ask me which WM6 rom is the best. Cause I think all cookers did a great job with their ROMS. I have to say, just try several and keep the one you like. Cause it's not because some WM6 rom is good for me, that it will be good for your needs too!!
Good Luck and have fun
Bye

i got my rom also from o2 germany, and now my wm6 is in german, and i post my info, just check it out...
Model: ARTE200
ROM version: 3.4.207.2 ger
ROM Date: 4/18/07
Radio Version: 02.88.90
Protocoll Version: 4.1.13.41
ExtROM version: 3.4.207.102
OMAP850 / 201MHz / 64MB RAM / 128 MB Flash
is my radio version the newest?
Thank you all for the time spent and answers!
I've just Installed Artemis 2.1 Touch FULL ROM from Meschle and found it very good! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1506429
I'm gonna use it for a while and provide you some feedback but, at first I can tell you it's a great ROM - there are some things I was trying to configure such as.:
1. Configure customized and time-based profiles - I haven't found it at the default HTC Home Profile software.
2. Configure EDGE connections instead of GPRS - I have also double checked at my Network Provider (TIM Brazil) - my line is EDGE enabled and my region is covered - but it only gets GPRS.
I would appreciate your opinion regarding the questions above... but thanks anyway!
I'll also take a look at some addictional CABS from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=325290 .. if you have suggestions, it would be welcome!
Many Thanks!
SlyBrazil!
