Just some suggestion:
If you put a SD CARD in card slot, take it out.
Disable your USB connection of MS ActiveSync, plug the sync cable, notice the display.
Final solution, reflash it with SD image.

I am using O2 XDA IIs PPC 2003 SE.
Now when I insert my SD Card 2 GB, the OS does not recognize it.
(It was good before.)
I've tried with another 256 SD Card, same result.
Those SD Cards are working well with my Card Reader plugged into my PC.
Anyone could help me please?
Thanks in advance.
I'm sorry I don't know.
However.. you've come to the wrong place if you want help.. people here seem to have an aversion to actually helping people out.. don't get me wrong, there are some very talented people that call this forum 'base', but they are understandably busy.. and the other's who hang just don't answer **** unless it suits them..
You are more likely to get the answer "read the wiki" which isn't the most helpful thing in the world. Even those of us who try others to help despite our knowledge being somewhat wanting.. just in the hopes of being seen to be at least trying, aren't deemed to be worth giving an answer to.
I suggest these two forums.

You will get help there.
Try soft resetting the device, poke the stylus in the reset hole and once the device re-boots it should see the card, you will not loose information performing a soft reset - Mike
thanks guys.
Hi, I've also have a sort of problem like yours. I tried soft reset n it actually works. But sometimes my BA still can't read my SD. I've tried format my SD n even upgrade my ROM. It seems that the problem is in hardware. I don't know what to do anymore
U have probably what I also have.. a faulty SD card reader or a bad soldering (welding)...
Last night I dissambled my BA n I found out that the screws around SD card reader were loose. I've tightened them up n so far I don't have any problem with SD card. But I've still exprerienced problem with my screen keep active when my BA was pressed even though I've locked the device n power off. I don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestion?
Problem already solved.
It was because tiny plastic dirts on the SD slot.
Once I cleaned it up, it's working as before.
Thanks to you all. What a nice forum we have here.
I had similar problems with a 1GB card. Formatting it in a PC-based card reader fixed it. Remember not to select quick format.
Can I put a 4GB SD Card in the Blue Angel? Will it work?

Click to collapse
It will work if the card is *NOT* a SDHC card.
I found my 4 gig card on ebay, topram is the brand, and it works fine as it is a non-SDHC card.
Sdcard not reconized
HI TO ALL..
I had installed miopocket 4.0 on my VDO Dayton PNA6000-WINCE 5 but
because of problems with Garmin XT I had to uninstall but the uninstall
did not do the best for me, now my SD slot dont read any sdcard i think
its corrupted registry and i dont have access to usb active sync only
have MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) when i connect to usb(no data
transfer). How can i access my resident flash(INTERNAL MEMORY) to edit
registry, change usb mode to activesync or something else???, i think sdmemory.dll is making
load problems.
Tnx in advance!
To have access to registry use TotalCommander or SKTools
but i dont have access to system, sdslot is not functional and i cant install active sync driver just mtu in device manager..
Hi guys, I have WM 6 running on my Blue Angel and I used it to record a seminar (Resco Audio Recorder). The battery went dead and since no charger, I replaced the battery with a fully charged one. Everything was fine, until it requested the password. It wouldn't accept the password, no matter what I did and eventually I had to hard reset, thinking the files were on the memory card. Apparently they weren't and now I need those recordings... I have tried easy recovery but it only works with the SD card on a reader. Anyway to recover data on the phone memory? I;d try anything, even taking it apart if I could stick the memory in a card reader. Is there any solution or am I doomed?
if it's on a ramdisk no dice
if it's on storage
then maybe if you use one of the tools
to make the pda be seen as an usb mass storage controller on the
pc you can try a normal pc undelete tool
I have searched for similar tools with no success. Do you have any one in mind?
there are many names and many tools
wm5storage is one
and
http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/usbmassstoragedriver.shtml
there are more which ones work with your pda i dont know
i dont think it's recoverable.
it is formatted already
and overwritten by your os.
(unless there's "unformat" for PPC
but that is pointless because it can only
boot in the storage drive so unformat
wont run in a locked drive)
if it's only deleted... it probably/might be possible to undelete.
you should have done "No/Yes/No" on hard reset
to clear the registry hive and not the storage.
but i guess that's too late.
im sorry for your loss.
Hello Everyone,
I have the prblem with my A696 that whenever I plug or unplug the USB cable on my device I have to pop and then reseat the sd card for it to be read.
Now I know there's an update on the ASUS site which fixes this problem, but I'd set my ppc up prior to discovering it and really don't want to zap everything on it by doing a ROM update.
Is there someone who can tell me whether it's possible to get the updated functionality WITHOUT updating the ROM
Many thanks in advance
Michael
.....
Have you tried to take out your Micro SD Card and then going into your bootloader, then connecting USB to your Phone and Flashing threw PC?
Hmm, I have no idea then...
.....
Have you tried taking your sim out and then trying to sync. Then try running task 29.
Hi, guys!
I've already created one theme, but it wasn't helpful. So, I create new theme here. The problem is very serious.
I have some problems with my WP7 device (HTC 7 PRO):
Yesterday I disassembled my device to change the memory card. The aim was to have more capacity (16Gb). Everything was fine. After I've mounted new card to my device, it was boot, but couldn't recognize new microSD card.
I supposed that I should made hard reset. I made it. After device rebooted I noticed that it couldn't recognize my Sim card, but with memory card everything was OK. Then I tried to reboot my device for 3-5 times. It wasn't helpful. Then I made another hard reset, but without any success.
I changed back to the original microSD card.
After that, I've flashed 7389 ROM and then 7390 through the Zune Update.
As a result device still can't recognize any sim-cards (I've tried 3 different).
Help me, please!
Updated: it seems that I've founded the description of my problem at MS. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2450831/en-us
Can anyone maybe try to phone them and get some information what should I do?... My English isn't good. I can donate you via PayPal if it will be helpful.
Upd2: I've bought the phone at clove.co.uk. They says that the phone isn't locked to any operator.
Sounds like you disconnected/ damaged a cable while swapping memory cards. I'd put it back to sock and contact HTC and play dumb about what I did.
Sent from my HTC HD7 using Board Express
No-no, it's all OK with the cable. The problem described at the link above, at Microsoft.
The problem is in card (MicroSD). The phone can't reconize the card as official, that's why sim-card is not reconized by phone.
The solution is to get MicroSD card that'll recognized by phone as official...
Take a look at this post:

These guys still doesn't have a solution...

Does anybody has HTC 7 Pro? Can you post screens that are made in SPL mode. Or just write, what do you see in SPL mode.
I have:
PC92100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-1.24.2250.0(117856)
MicroP(LED) 0x06
TOUCH A1(v10,20)
SD SANDISK 7580MB
Partition Info-v211v423
I've seen that in another pepole's phones:
SD SANDISK 7580MB Class0
Do you have any differences?
How to get to SPL mode:
Turn off your device.
Hold vol down key and press power button. Don't relese keys before you see an 4-colored screen.

I don't know why, but after another hard reset without card and reset with card everything go ok. I've also dismouned and mounted cable once again. Finally, I have 16Gb card in my phone.
Thank you all for the help!
