Hi all, I have got 15 QTEKS 9090 on my desk
 (Unfortunately they are not for me.. ) :?
all with MMS enabled, and nothing done with the standard ROM from KPN.
All GPRS and MMS settings are installed when hard-resetting the device.
When trying to send MMS, it will keep the msg in the outbox.
GPRS connection is made, but nothing is send, you can see a little brown box with an arrow pointing out
But the msg is not send.
Wondering through the internet, I cannot find anyone who posted this problem/solution.
Looking at the KPN site i can see different settings
KPN site: Port 5080
QTEK settings: Port 9201
And on the gateway
KPN site: 10.10.100.20
QTEK: 10.10.100.10
Please let me know if someone has read this problem and if there was a sollution
Thanks you very much

- I fixed my MMS problem !
I remove the MMS Composer program 2.0.0.16 from the extended ROM and replaced it by the 2.0.0.13 version and MMS is working again.
Easy to do !
1. use the XDA-developers_unlocker
2. extract the MMS cab file from the previous version of the extended rom that you could find on the XDA FTP site (112121WWE)
3. edit the config.txt of your actual extended rom to use the 2.0.0.13 cab file
4. replace the 2.0.0.16 by the 2.0.0.13 version
5. do an HARD reset (you have to re-install your applications!)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
I actually learn more than i bargend for!..
Now my PDA rulez! 8)
Didn't work for me
Which setting do i need for kpn
Looking at the KPN site i can see different settings

Update to MMS Composer 2.0.0.21
Here is the Latest WM5 MMS cab from the New WM5 Verizon XV6700BB (Apache)
I hope this works with other WM5 Ba's and XDA II's
If anyone wants the rest of the extended rom let me know and I will upload it. The bluetooth radio software sucks on the apache, I just applied the insane registry hacks and hope that will fix they annoying issue of the bluetooth turning off.
For some reason I cannot gain access to the FTP tonight. Here is a temp download link to the file. When ftp here is restored someone let me know so I can upload it here.
File is below:

MIke
Could you upload the full ext rom contents? Thanks!!
I've noticed this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950
So now the internet calling is working.
How can we integrate it to WM6 roms ?
is there any cooked rom that includes internet calling ?
otherwise, is there a cab file to add it ?
(I use XDA 0.2)
thanks
A quick READ of the first post states that it is an integral part of WM6, now since we are seeing some new versions of LVSW,Black and WMXL now or soon common sence suggests they will contain the appropriate files. You need the ROM to have it by the sounds of it, not sure if a cab is possible yet.
You can used the linked cab to reinstall the VoIP Client on WMXL0.2. I've tested it this evening and it works great
Looks like it's time to get my asterisk server backup and running
Hey Guys!
I've got a question. Is it possible to add the german O2 OEM-Package from bepe to Black 2.5?
For example there is no HomeZone-Plugin in Black 2.5 and i can't use the german keyboard buttons. MMS doesnt works too.
Thanks for answering!
Kaimane
Hi Kaimane!
It's very easy! If you just flash Black 2.0 (and I guess 2.5 will be the same) your extended rom containing the O2 OEM-Package is still there, since JasJam's rom does not include an extended rom.
So just use HTweakC to unhide your extended rom and you'll see all the cabs from o2 there. One of them is the home plugin another one is WAP / MMS and other settings (can't remember the names but I found a description by searching for one of the filenames in google). Just start those two cabs and you're done.
The only thing this doesn't solve is the keyboard. Therefore you have to apply an additional cab you can find somewhere on this forum...
I did it myself and it works flawlessly.
Good luck,
Michael
I presume the OS itself will not be german after installing black with this method ...
Is there any known way to get a german black 2.5 rom?...
For example could i rebuild the black 2.5 image using the ROM from "WM6 ROM Kitchen" ?
Thx
Ele
Hi ele,
no, it won't be completely German. It just gives you the homezone-plugin, the operator settings and with some other tweaks german keyboard layout.
I read somewhere in other threads that it is very difficult to change the language entirely in WM6 although it was planned to make that easy by just replacing some language files. However, this doesn't seem to work. As far as I know you cannot use another ROM in a rom kitchen to just change the language.
Sorry for that, but we'll either have to take an english ROM or wait until o2 releases WM6 for trinity in May.
cheers,
Michael
o2 will release in few days a upgrade to WM6... also the homezone function will work:

Has anybody managed to extract the O2 Network settings configurator file from the official o2 ROM. While B&B has such a utility the settings for Ireland are incomplete for MMS etc.
Anybody got the o2 file??
nope sorry
Na, I tried before but there are files all over the place, not just in the extrom image. The GPRS ones for Ireland work fine in B&B4. Is that the one missing MMS? You can probably get them from the o2.ie site anyway.

The Screen shots of the MMS Config for O2 Ireland Billpay are here just look down the page.
Best just to add them in manually as I did easier than an applet.
Thanks for the help
Many thanks for the help, all is now working!
