Dear all.
I found in my Eten X 500 an application I like much.
It is called locations SMS. You can look for your Coorsinates and send them
via SMS to others. ( I.e. for looking in Google Earth )
Best regards

Tested on HTC P3300 and works well. At least gave me some co-ordinates. Now to check with Google Earth

The X500 also has an application called 'Skype Switch'. From what I understand this enables Skype to be used by the front speaker used during normal tleephone calls, not through the rear 'handsfree' speaker. Can this application be used on the Artemis? Maybe it can be posted in the download area if it works.

Hello,
Guys pls help me ... I've one question Where i can select watch 1nd or 2nd Camera ???? or maybe on this shap's 4.20 ROM camera select program doesn't exist ?
Tnx
i would also like the answer to this!
i believe what the original poster is trying to ask is, is it possible to take pictures with the forward facing VGA camera at all?
I may be wrong but the front camera can only be used for video calls, it's only 0.1Mpixel anyway so I can't imagine the quality would be up to much even if you worked out how to.
..and does anyone know if it can be used for skype video call?
thx a lot!
No, it cannot be used for skype video. After all NO mobile device is supported for video calls in Skype.

Except for Mcrosoft Portrait there is no IM program to allow for video telephony on Pocket PCs so far. Maybe in the future

On a PC, yes, there are programs for turning Windows Mobile device into a webcam - like "Mobiola WebCamera".

This cam version lets you choose between cam's. It doesn't have the best cam quality, but it works.
Try coolcamera.......you can use both cameras for taking photos......also works as a messenger webcam via USB (And bluetooth).

Hi there
I have completely disassembled my tytn , and yes it was the connector that was loose. put everything together and ...... The 2e camera is working again .
I will post some pictures witch are useful as reverence.
And I have give the tytn a custom paintjob little retro funky back to the 60' airbrush
the most important is that the front camera is working again

Please do, I would love to see. My x01HT is having an issue with the VGA camera, it doesn't work with webcamera plus, coolcamera, or the GPS camera cab. I think it is unpluged as yours was. Is that the one you had not working? Plus it would be half cool to paint it too. Thanks!

well it's vga, and yes it's not so good in term of quality but it's a handy feature for some people...
and to think about it, trinity has the feat... so how come hermes cannot...? there should be way around to do this...
i mean, if vijay can lit the flashlight with certain commands without turning on the camera... then the camera switching may be possible too
don't u think?
i am from singapore, and i think that htc cavalier is the phone for me. however i cant find much feedback and support for this phone. cant find much information in PDAs forums either...the phone was out since may last year...but it seems like
very few people are using it or they refused to share feedbacks about the phone.
i am a student...so i need the wifi, bluetooth, calls sms, and the camera functions. i was wondering how long can the batt last?
can i underclock the phone too?

Well mine's woriking like charm. No complaints.
it would freeze if you load it with appz , otherwise it is very fast
I have some apps (facade, fizz weather, gmaps, slick, resco photo) and don't have problems with freezing. My only complaint is with the messaging app. I would like to see more than 4 emails on one screen. WM doesn't allow me to change font, or configure settings (1 email per line)...
but these programs: facade, fizz weather, gmaps, slick, resco photo are not free.. is there a crack?

My Rhodium is a UK model, supplied by GPSK Ltd.
Anyone help me to get voice recorder back - I miss it!!!
you can't use notes for that?
Thanks! I didnt spot the recording toolbar in notes needed to bne switched on - too used to a hardware button on my old TYTNII
Cheers!
No problem
Recording on notes is very limited... (and it's always been there...)
Here you are - took me ages to find it too!

Interesting... as well as the FM Radio, something else is missing on certain TP2s

My TP2, from HK, cames with the Voice Recorder App (and the Radio) already installed on it.
Might just be the firmware/rom that the UK model came with?

Thanks for the link, worked great for me.
Hi, Everyone.
I have a very specific question.
I need an application which works in background to record sound.
Just like the standard one of the tp2 at notes, but it has to be invinsible. So if you look at the screen.
Thanks in advance.. Waiting for your advise !!
dude, you heard winmo in multitasking yet?
you run voice recorder and cover it with something else,
or minimize after run. tapping X should just minimize(=hide)
or if you want, get and install mortscript, and create this file:
silentREC.mscr
==========
Run("\windows\Recorder.exe","")
Sleep( 3000 )
SendSpecial( "LeftSoft" )
Minimize ( "Voice")
====
then put shortcut to the mscr file into statr mneu
Search for ACR on xda I think that you are looking for that program.

Download "Rhodium Settings Tool" by Tom_Condon here --->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=549135 and then go to Menu>Phone Settings>Next (Page) and the last option on the bottom will be to enable phone record.
