Factory Original Shipped ROM for BA

hi,
i upgraded my BA IIs from PPC2003 to WM5. and i also downgraded the same device back to PPC2003. but how can i get the original factory ROM which is i first brought from the reseller? the one that i get is a patch version, which do not have the O2 Connect in it.
can any one help me please.....

i think you can get it from o2 website, either o2.co.uk or see02.com. for me the best rom is from t-mobile nl 1.42 and i bought mine from o2 uk.

the o2 xda stealth is very fast

don't think there is wm6 for stealth. I have the rom update from dec 2006 which improves keypad if ppl. are interested. Have to upload somewhere...

i have a chinese rom in my stealth can i change it to english through the said rom update? if yes, where can i download it? thanks in advance

ROM update
If you register on the o2 site (www.seeo2.com), and just pick australia, you can download the official ROM for free.
The ROM is of 2006-12-08 and has some improvements for the eZiText.
btw. It is a WM5 ROM, I don't think O2 will bring out a WM6 ROM, but maybe you can contact them?

O2 Upgrade
I understand that O2 is no longer providing services and is now being done intermittently by MWG. Am i correct? Does anyone know anything about this?

IICRC...If you get a brand new dash in a box from Tmo right now, it comes with .6. The only thing they have on the website tho' is .4 which is the first Tmo WM6 rom. According to a Tmo tech, .6 was a stability update, and some tweaks to T-Zones, with the same feature set.

HTC just added support for registering it's devices assembled in Brasil on it's brasilian website, so I did it and downloaded a wm 6.0 ROM with support for Portuguese as the system language.

The name of the file is RUU_Excalibur_BRIGHTSTAR_PTB_1.30.514.2_4.1.13.47_02.98.90_Ship.exe
It's a "generic" multilingual ROM, not just portuguese as before stated.
NEW UPDATE: ACTUALLY I FLASHED MY PHONE WITH IT TODAY AND IT HAS THE FOLLOWING LANGUAGES/LOCALES (actually more than one locale per language, like swiss german, argentinean spanish, and so on): brasilian portuguese (português - brasil), italian (italiano), french (français), US english, spanish (español) and german (deutsch).

can you find in your browsing history where you got that ROM? i'd like to see it and compare with kavana or rickwyatts ROM to see if its the same version, but renamed.
edit: basically if this ROM is official, it should install without the JUMP SPL CID BYPASS. If it still needs or uses the CID Bypass, this its either a renamed kavana or rickwyatt or another cooked ROM based on kavanas WM 6.1 ROM.

Saw it and grabbed it from home. I'm at work now. When I get home, I'll post it for you.
The article stated it was the official T-Mobile 6.1. I'm happily running kavana's but since I need to flash someone's work phone, I figured an official (albeit leaked) would be better.
When I get home, I'll see if I can find the link. I know it was posted on a 4shared or some other free hosting service. Don't remember which one though but they left the official filename intact.
I've been searching all of my nerd sites to re-find the article and I swear it's like it never existed. It's driving me nuts!

I installed it. False alarm. It's WM6, not 6.1. That's probably why the story got pulled so fast.

I have my Uk O2 Ignito on order. Is there a standard O2 Uk ROM available?
I've already used ROMS on this site for my XDA Orbit, but was never able to put it back to default, I'd like to be able to do that before experimenting with my new XDA Ignito.

I did a dump of my UK o2 rom before updating to a custom rom and now have Part00, Part01, Part02 and Part03 alongside SPLdumped.nb but have no idea how to turn these into a factory reset ROM - can ayone help us out?

Hi. How easy is it to create a ROM of my O2 Ignito?
I'd like to back it up and have the option to restore it before trying the ROMs here, that way if I ever have to send it back to O2 I can always do so.
Would really appreciate some advice.

O2 Offical WM6 ROM

Hi,
the o2 rom download page (http://www.my-xda.com/software_updates.jsp) doesn't list XDA Orbit only the XDA Orbit 2. Did o2 UK even release an official WM6 rom for XDA Orbit and if so does anyone know where I can download it? The phone I'm looking to upgrade is a work one and so I can't use any custom ROMs
