Actually Luke already answered my question. One comment though, wouldn't it be better if more people actually test your Radio version than just a set of people?

This is true. None wants to brick their Universal, thus my first question was where did this Radio version came from? Now that we know, it is up to the user if he or she wants to use it, of course with Luke's permission first.

I've extracted the radio from a Vodafone test device, I'm trying to understand if it works also on other PU10 and if the version 1.14.10 is an internal numbering of Vodafone, because I've never heard since a couple of days ago about a radio version newer that 1.13.00
Please wait until the test team have comfirmed these matters...

This is the whole essence of this place..
We are a bunch of technical people who know exactly what to do with our devices.. Any one who tries to do any upgrades is on his/her responsibility.
Any ways ofcourse it is any body's right to share whatever he wants with his acquaintances , but again this is against the freedom of knowledge we are all seeking here..this sort of creates a society within our society..

because everybody say that it 's not good and it is a version beta of whom. Thus i deleted. I am sorry
I am using the new beta radio stack v.1.14.10 from iluainu and I think that the signal of new version is little bit better than the old one 1.13
Can you please post the new radio rom for the group
I have to say, it does have a better reception.

I could also extract my original (german) htc rom - but i do not know how. if someone can put me in the right direction, i will do this.

So it seems that YOU have to dump your rom However I did read that a higher number (1.37.407.2 > 1.37.00.00) does not inevitable imply a newer rom. Does someone know something about that?
Anyway I ask myself how it could be that the phone is out just a few days in germany and there are almost so much different rom versions?
Btw: Do you have an original HTC device or a branded one?

do you think we'll see any more official ROMs from HTC? The latest I know of, are the 1.93.xxx series. It seems they are working on the odd radio update (probably to try and stop unlocking?)
I recall they gave up with the Trinity after about 10 minutes. Thanks god for the cookers...
I'm very unimpressed with the performance of TF in general. If it was a bit snappier I'd be a lot happier.....Then again maybe WM6 is part of the problem - I don't know.

Well.. HTC have just released version 1.96.710.3 on the Asia web site for the Diamond for the Australian Optus and Vodaphone carriers. Won't flash onto the Telstra model - gives an Invalid Model ID error.
I believe this can be fixed however.
Perhaps someone would care to flash it and check to see what has been updated?

I tried flashing it but it hangs at 0% with an error code of 262 tried help, said to soft reset device... done but of no use, restart the system but of no use.

Okay, I need to apologize because I didn't see this post was on the forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413910.
But 1,93 isn't really that up to date, is this the only post containing original roms that you guys know off, because i've used the search function a billion times by now, with a dictionary full of keywords, but i haven't found anything higher than 1,93.

That's why i started this thread really, I just want the official rom on it again, so i can enjoy the 'functionallity' that it should have.
I'm not saying that those custom roms suck or something, i LOVED using them, really! But im thinking of selling my phone, and i don't want to sell it disfunctioning.

These are obviously newer than the ones found in the link i posted earlier. I found a 2.03 version in that post which is Dutch, so if this is the latest we can get in Holland, i'll be definatly downloading that version.

Before posting some file, i'm always testing on my phone...and it does change anything if is from chinese site or not if is working and after 1 day of use i can tell you:
is drain less battery,
i get better connection
gps fix is faster
bluetooth audio with my headset is more stable
and if you can use withour security unlock means that is for diamond!!
