Help with o2 exec - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

my brother has the one of these o2 exec , but he has somehow reflashed the rom and now is it just a blank screen- is there a way of getting the rom, etc from another o2 exec and reload it to his? I have never done this before and he has had enough of messing around with it and just bought a new m3100, so i was wonderig if I could repair this, if so I have just aquired a new phone for nothing .
Any help will be much apprieciated.
thanks
sam

If you look well the screen an see some word like usb up and v.1.0 down is possible to repair.

Try to reflash the ROM via Bootloader mode.

O2 Orbit stuck at the boot screen

Hi,
ive flushed my O2 Orbit with the PDAMobiz rom, and it is now stuck at the boot screen at
IPL 1.25.0001
SPL 1.25.0000
GSM 02.67.90
OS 3.4.00
I can go to bootloader and have tried the HTC firmware but the device reset itself after 3% !
i cannot use the http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c3unlock.php unlocker tool as it requires activesync to be connected to the device which obviously wont connect as it stuck on the boot screen or bootloader..
the phone wasn't unlocked using any tool before hand...
please please help!!!!!!
You can only bring it to life with original ROM for your device. If it does not exist, you have a brick, and have to get it repaired by a shop.
im usre i read somewhere that there are some ways to fix it as long as you can access the bootloader which i can..
I have the same problem ... But ... I downloaded my original ROM via aWizard ... Is any way, how flash this file (extension NBA) back to my Orbit ???
I'm sorry to say guys. I had EXACTLY the same problem you have described. I had to go back to an O2 shop and send my "brick" for repair. Thankfully though my phone was still under warranty so didn't cost me a thing.
how long did it take O2 to fix it

Restore original O2 UK ROM from Bootloader

Hi everyone,
A while ago I was stupid and tried to flash my O2 XDA Orbit without fully reading the instructions and therefore ended up "bricking" the device. It turns on but seems to hang on the "O2 Welcome Screen" which shows the following information:
IPL 1.25.0001
SPL 1.25.0000
GSM 02.67.90
OS 1.28.0.0
The device can boot up into the bootloader screen no problems and I have tried to install various ROM's from the German O2 WM6 ROM to the UK T-Mobile WM5 ROM but with no success, it just gets to 3% then reboots.
Does anyone know a way that I can restore the original O2 UK WM5 ROM from the bootloader? Or at least get it working again?
At this point there is no O2 Rom avaliable, you will have to wait till they finally release the WM6 Rom sometime this Summer.

Thank you however I have tried the above instructions but my device just gets to 3% then reboots.
Does anyone know what the MTTY.EXE software is all about and is there any way that I can manually force the device to Flash using this?
Or!!!!!
Is there a way for me to clone a mates xda orbit and drop the image onto mine? Both were purchased at the same time just I thought i'd be clever and update mine which didn't quite work out.
Have you already tried to flash a rom by using your microSD card ?
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_SD_Card_Flashing
try to flash it from sd card if your orbit is cid unlocked
not sure
I dont think my device is cid unlocked as it would have worked with the updated rom install, wouldn't it? sorry pretty new to all this.
I have tried to flash straight from the sd card but it just searches through the sd card then goes straight to the multicoloured bootloader screen.
Anyother ways or is there a better rom that i could use?

need help! bricked t-mobile arte110 german :((

I'm new on this forum and I really need some help .. I tried to change an t-mobile mda compact III rom (wich it was in german) but ended with an bricked phone (( .. If someone can help me ...please .. The device is not even mine; I was trying to help a friend and now I don't know what to do; I really don't have money to send it to imei-check or anything else. The artemis was in german . the problem ,now : was from t-mobile germany or t-mobile austria ? I really don't know beacause the device is second-hand and i don't have who to ask ..
after deep search I lost all my hope in finding an original WM5 ( I think) rom .. not german and not austrian.
So is there an solutin ? because I'm in big panic ...
Thanks a lot in advance guys !
hello,
took this for the windows mobile 6 thread
Bricked devices
If you have flashed your device and not cid unlocked it, your device maybe salvagable if you can get it into bootloader mode.
Hold down the voice speed dial button and soft reset - you should then enter bootloader mode 'multicolored' screen'
If you do, attach device to pc via usb cable (a small usb will appear bottom left of screen) and flash factory rom. (run rom executable or RUU updater from pc) You do not need to be activesynced to do this.

O2 Orbit WM6 WWE factory rom downloadable here http://rs314.rapidshare.com/files/10...06.90_Ship.exe
Before you flash again with a non-factory rom, your device MUST be cid unlocked.
If you cannot enter bootloader mode your bootloader has been damaged and your device will need to be sent away for repair.
i bricked my phone once over and i was able to fix it by this method, i plugged the phone into the computer and entered bootloader mode and i pressed ctrl/alt/delete and found wcescom or something like that and pressed end task.. i then ran the update and it flashed the phone back to normal. after that i ran the Hard SPL program and unlocked the cid and then flashed with a custom rom..
hope this helps.

forgot to mention...
dont know anything about german and austrian rom's so you'll have to do a bit of research if those dont work for you...
sorry!
the links don't work (
thanks a lot .. I will try if I can get the roms ....

Vodaphone Splash Screen

Guys, need to send my TP2 back ASAP, relcoking it but thought I've changed the splash screen anyone have this I need to today as the handset will be collected tommorow.
Somemore
Guys, just realised the Vodphone stock ROm listed on XDA, does not give the Vodaphone theme, an ideas where I can get that (checked the themes thread already).
Solved
I visited the Vodaphone site and all is back to stock and the splash screen, just need to run relocker SPL.
For future reference the official link is http://devicehelp.vodafone.co.uk/firmwaredevice.php?ModelID=384&e=0
Sorry to hear that you had a problem with the phone, but cool you got it reflashed. Let me know if they accept it as I'm a Vodafone user tempted to unlock and flash new Roms but got burned by T-Mobile when I did that on my Vario III.
