Hi all,
Dont know who all is interested in this but I'm one that isnt into the way the start menu looks by default (which is a gridview style). I changed the view to listview which I like a whole lot better and thought I'd share by changing the following values
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu as follows:
* GridView DWORD Value = 1, for GridView
* GridView DWORD Value = 0, for ListView
I've been looking for this for more than 3 days...
Thank you
Great
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot

With the ToggleView.cab, you view the listview and the gridview without doing any registry edits, you can get the ToggleView.cab @ http://www.mediafire.com/?eqpux24xlwy .............!
Ive set my orbit to 12 hour format and was wondering if it is possible to have the time displayed at the top right (titlebar) as 1:12 am instead of just 1:12.
please use tweaks2k2.net 3.8
Many thanks for that, but i dont suppose you know the reg key do you?
Have you checked the Wiki?
Well if you mean this section, then I've just tried it without success.
wiki said:
Show Time,Date, both or Battery on top bar at Today screen
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\]
To Show Time
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1
"TBOpt"=1 (This key will need to be created)
Click to collapse
I created a DWORD Value, named it TBOpt, set Base as Dec and DWORD Data to 1, reset, but nothing
I also tried creating a new KEY, I doubled clicked Default inside that key and set the string to 1, soft reset and nothing.
Am i looking and playing in the wrong area or doing something wrong?
I found this and tried it with success
http://www.pocketpctweaks.com/pocketpc_tweaks/display_AM_PM_clock
the Web site above said:
AM or PM displayed on Titlebar Clock
Registry Edit
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides]
Create String: S1159
Value = Am
Create String: S2359
Value = Pm
Create String: STFmt
Value = h:mm tM
Soft reset * All characters are case sensitive and must be entered as stated above.
Click to collapse
It displays as capitals AM PM, if anyone knows how to display it lower case am pm please let me know.
I should have used google before starting this thread, well i guess its here for others now
I've also added it to the wiki.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_Registry
does anybody know why this happens? regardless of whether you have the right DWORD entry in the cab, when it writes over "AttenuationCategory" inside SoundCategory it automatically becomes a STRING type instead. anybody have any idea how to solve this? people cant use volume up cabs because it ends up disabling their rings!
what reg edit program are you using and have you tried a different one?
its not the regedit program
its when i install cabs that edit the attenuationcategory registry value.
anybody know of anything?
While I was searching between the registries I found this way ,it is very simple.
Your phone must be Interop unlocked and you must have a registry editor on your phone.
You need the Uri of the app you want to put in the quick action. ( There is a list of the Uris of some popular apps in the end of this thread).
Create a new value with the following data
To add an app to the settings quick action: (Just press it and the app you have selected will open)
Registry Key Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ActionCenter\Quick Actions\All\QuickActions_Launcher_AllSettings
Registry Value Name: Uri
Registry Value Type: String
Registry Value Data: add the uri of the app you want, For example: mswindowsmusic:
To add an app to the Airplane mode quick action: (Press to activate the airplane mode, long press to open the app)
Registry Key Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ActionCenter\Quick Actions\All\SystemSettings_QuickAction_AirplaneMode
Registry Value Name: Uri
Registry Value Type: String
Registry Value Data: add the uri of the app you want, For example: fb:
To add an app to the Bluetooth quick action (Press to activate the Bluetooth, long press to open the app)
Registry Key Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ActionCenter\Quick Actions\All\SystemSettings_Device_BluetoothQuickAction
Registry Value Name: Uri
Registry Value Type: String
Registry Value Data: add the uri of the app you want, for example: fb-messenger:
To add an app to the Flashlight quick action (Press to run the flash, long press to open the app)
Registry Key Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ActionCenter\Quick Actions\All\SystemSettings_Flashlight_Toggle
Registry Value Name: Uri
Registry Value Type: String
Registry Value Data: add the Uri of the app you want, for example: fb-messenger:
And on this way you can edit the other quick actions, just change the path.
you can find all other paths in this key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ActionCenter\Quick Actions\All
It might be difficult to know in which quick action you did put the app, but I found a solution to this problem.
Just edit the icons of the action center and add the icons of the apps you chose.

colors???
Can anyone guess keys for adding color to brightness and other tiles like camera, the action center seems pretty dull on 10.
8.1 had good colors. And dark tiles too.
Tried every key buy couldn't find anything

As far as i know., u can find it in the Appxmanifest file(Extension category, protocol name)
But not all the apps are uri activated.,
If u want to add a custom app without uri, try this..
* Just edit the "AppId registry value data" to [xxxAppIdxxx!App]
For example if you want to add interoptools, edit "AppId" of Brightness quick action to
InteropTools_2aq3exr3grctp!App

It's easy, download the icon pack from this thread or copy the original icon pack from your phone and edit the icons using any font editor app like Font Creator on your PC and then follow this thread to put it on your phone
https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10/development/material-design-icon-pack-t3419962
Note: the icon pack must be .ttf file and not .otf

It doesn't make a difference at all, just make sure you didn't forget the colon in the end of the uri, for example fb: and without a space between fb and the colon.
make sure that the registry key path is correct as it is.
If you still face any problem, feel free to contact me.
