I have just bought my headphones. The problem is that the one headphone doesn't work. At first it was perfect. hte worked great. I used them while charging with the cable. Then when they got charged I connect them to my pc with the DC800. But then I had the problem with the one headphone. Only one of both had bass, the I tried to but it in my pc with the jack connector and now only the one works. Help me.
PLEASE. How to solv my problem?

Oh and when I try to turn on my headphones there is really weak light. Not like before strong light.
But when I put them to charge the light is strong. And the headphones are charged before 2 hours for first time.
Anyone to know what's the problem with my f*cking headphones.
It sucks.
May have to send my Desire back to TMobile. Supplied headphones do not work. There appears to be loose connection inside handset. To hear anything I must hold down jack connector and then the volume is very low, the minute I stop holding the jack it drops the sound. Anyone else finding this build issue?
Also the remote on the headphone cable will not operate. I did try the supplied headphones on another device then its o.k. so it must be the actual Desire at fault.
Your phone is probably ok!
I had exactly the same problem, but it's due to the headphone connector.
You should use a 3,5 stereo jack with 4 contacts (TRRS) instead of a the 3,5mm stereo jack with 3 contacts (TRS) which is present on all casual headsets.
You can sole it with an adapter cable.

My remote doesn't work on my Desire too. But my remote on a friend's Desire works.. grr
Thanks for the replies. Fair play to T Mobile they exchanged my phone no problem. New phone now works perfect. So pleased I got the Desire.
I found a solution for mine, it was tunewiki which override the headset buttons by default.. <clever>
Hello !
I have problems with my HTC ONE M8 playing music when I use it in my car via AUX cable.
Usually, the first time i plug it in the aux cable is recognized as a headphone and everything is working normally. However, usually the 2nd time I plug it in (or restart the car) it is recognized as a headphone with a microphone and the phone keeps changing the songs and sometimes even starting the google voice search. The problem is the same no matter which player i use.
Any help?
I appreciate it.
My m8 Verizon worked fine with my aux cable for my car until yesterday's 4.4.3 update.. now the stock headphones work fine as well does a expensive aux cable but my cheap retractable cable that worked fine before isn't recognized.. it works on my old thunderbolt fine but also fails on my wife's m7 ... Try a different cable that's higher quality.. mine is a griffen brand that's working..

Hey guys,
So, my earphones from HTC originals, are broken. Cable has been too many times stretched etc. I cutted mini jack, and taken isolation from every cable inside. Got mini jack from other earphones (with the same 4 pin and 5 cables). Connected it, and tried on PC. It worked. Tried on HTC M7 phone. Doesnt see earphones.. Tried other headphones, working..
I dont understand.. Can anyone help me?
Greetings

You said the HTC one doesn't see the earphones but does the audio still work?
Seems like the audio needs to be forced through the audio jack. Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix&hl=en .
You might as well buy new ones.
Just wanted to let everyone know that the HTC usonic headphones, and the htc dongle both work on these phones without modification (the sound canceling function of the heaphones does not work though). These headphones sound great with this phone. I searched google and didn't find anything. Just hoping to help if anyone is looking for wired headphones. these are great and have lasted years using every day and arent too expensive.
I also used my Sennheiser HD1s connected via a Cable Matters USB-C to Micro USB cable, works really well and sounds great to me!
