Ive got a T-Mobile MDA III with TOM TOM 6 installed and working fine.
However is there any way to set it up so that when I turn Tom Tom on it automatically goes to Landscape mode.
Damned if I can find a way

Hello. I've recently bought an mda II. I had an mda i running tom tom 3 and connected a royaltek spahire mouse. I've installed tomtom3 again on the mda II but i cannot connect the gps mouse to the device.
Whenever push the connecter in. It wants to connect to the mms connection ?. I've read previous threads that recommended to set the beams of. I did this too but it didn't work. Please advice

I just bought a pack: tom tom navigator 3 with bluetooth receiver and a an extra cd that should work with windows SE....but it doesn't... I've tried installing it and get the message: device unknown
anyone has had the same problem??

try getting the tomtom update on my xdaIIs works fine but a friend had to get the update for his spv 2000
yep mine runs ok on my 2s sounds like a M2000 compatiblity issue. dont know why though as i thouhjt the xda2s was very simular to the M2000
I had an issue while installing from the CD and I went to the web site, downloaded the software from there and it went okay. You may want to try this.
I got my Tom Tom software and BT GPS reciever yesterday.
I installed it and it just ground my XDA2 to a halt. I uninstalled and the XDA2 was back to normal.
My XDA2i arrived today (at last) so I installed the Tom Tom on that (I'm selling the XDA2 if anyones interested).
Problem is I can't now register the Tom Tom to work with my XDA2i. Tom Tom say that the licence is for only one device at a time. This is what I want but they can't release the activation.
I can't believe that they expect customers to buy a new version of Tom Tom when they upgrade devices.
How can I get around this?
I have other software (like Dreamweaver for example) that allows me to to 'park' the activation so I can install on another computer.
Any help will be appreciated.
I have just acquired an Xda Orbit from O2. Having installed Tom Tom 5 I find that no device code is shown in the Tom Tom version information, so I can't reset my Tom Tom account to allow me to use my Tom Tom traffic account. Is there a 'standard' device code of some sort that I can use until such as time as Tom Tom will support the Orbit?
I'm Currently working with PDA's within my company and was wondering if any one new how to hide everything on a MDA Vario III just leaving basic functions like co pilot phone bluetooth etc....
