Voice Command/SMS Reader

Hi all,
I'm looking for an application that can read SMS out loud (so I can read my sms while driving). Does anyone know of a good application for that?
Also, the WM5 voice commander allows me to call people without recording voice tags, does anyone have any voice commander that can do the same?
thanks all!
microsoft voice command will do the trick, not sure if there are others. The voice kinda sucks though.

I have the pantech duo and when i first got it i made it read my texts as i recieved them. I stopped using that feature and since then I've updated from wm5 to wm6. Now i want to re-enable it reading my texts but I can't find it. I've looked for hours on my phone, online, and even through the manual. All I can find is that microsoft voice command does it but I have no clue how to enable it or how I did it when i first got the phone. How do I enable it?!?!?!
EDIT: I FOUND IT!!!! ok so i know i didn't do it this way when i had wm5 but in wm6 I went into file explorer then /windows/vconfig_sp

Any way to automatically record all calls and store them on the SD card?

I am a user who likes to keep track of everything that ever happens. I struggle keeping all my texts (I wish I could back them up on the computer in a viewable archivable form - but that's another request).
Is there any way to automatically record all calls that are made? This would be a great help. I have the current recorder, but it's not realistic to have to manually record every call.
Thanks guys
Try ACR. I use it currently, I am not the writer, but I found it on here somewhere. It is fairly easy to configure, and it can store the calls to the sd card.
One thing i really like is the fact that the file name for the recorded calls is the date and time of the call, along with the caller-id information.

I use Microsoft's My Phone service to keep my texts. Not as cool as when I had used Jeyo's Mobile Extender to back up all texts into Outlook but a heck of a lot more reliable.
As a journalist I use Vito Audio Notes - the touch version - which has an option to auto record all telephone calls. Really, really helpful if you want to play back a phone interview!
i use Vito Audio Notes too, works well.
I also use ACR and it work like a charm.

Resco Audio Recorder for Pocket PC (v4.62)
Resco Audio Recorder for Pocket PC (v4.62)
This doesn't have anything to do with recording calls but keeping your sms in order, you might want to give google voice a try, if you set it up it'll keep all your sms in your gmail account as well as like 1000 other great features.

I'm not sure if it requires an invite, but if you're interested in trying it out shoot me a pm and i'll send you one.

Hook phone interface

Hello,
I'm building a Voip application, and I'd like to use the phone interface as my GUI.
Is it possible to catch the events when the user tries to call through the phone device?
Also when I receive a voip call, I want to display for the user a regular incoming phone call.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks,
Emil.

3 Skype and froyo timeout

Hi I am having problems running skype on my desire since the android 2.2 update, I can login using the 3 mobile data network and make and recieve skype calls, but after approx. 15-30 minutes I can no longer recieve calls, if I sign in again I can recieve the calls. Its as if it timeouts or changes to some sort of power saving state. Normal phone calls are not affected, there doesn't seem to be a option in skype to change any timout. Can anyone help please.
Thanks
Sid
try this, it might not help you but give it a shot
Thanks for that but its the version I am running, I also did a full factory rest today and still get the same problem.
Thanks
Ste
You could try Nimbuzz works great with my Skype account .
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I tried nimbuzz which allows me to call Skype contacts but it does not accept Skype calls from the 3 Skype app.
Just wondering if anyone had a direct email to someone at 3 that may be able to shed some light on this.
Thanks
Ste
call them on 333, they will tell you sh*t like "restart the phone" but try it you might be lucky
