INCREASING THE VOLUME

On my xda 2i is there anyway of making the phone louder when it rings apart from the drop down box. And secondly is there also anyway of making the mp3 player louder than 100%? (media player) It would be nice as through the headphones that come with it, I find that the volume is not loud enough. Thx

Ear buds/microphone, microphone volume adjustment

Hi everyone, I've been trying to find some info on volume adjustment for wired ear buds with microphone. I want to raise the volume on the microphone attached to the ear buds which should be doable since I see smartphones are similar to desktops. I assume the microphone/ear buds have some kind of technology or something that maybe cancels some sounds because it has a soft button that opens the music player when it is pushed down for a few seconds and muted the microphone when pressed once then UN-muted when pressed a second time. I hope there are apps out there that can adjust the volume or preferably it can be done natively.

[Q] Wired headset recommendation

I'm looking for a wired headset with a mute button. I'll mostly be using it for conference calls when I work from home. I've listened to a lot of punk music way to loud so the sound quality doesn't have to be amazing. The main thing I would like is a mute button. I had a pair that said it had a mute button but it never worked. Thanks.
This should be in the accessories section but all skullcandy phone stlyle headphones for like $30 I have bought have a volume slider that goes all the way down.

Bluetooth Headset Volume

Hi All is there anyway to increase the bluetooth headset volume? Ive tried using volume+ and flashing some of the Audio tools iin the Theme forum, but my bluetooth volume is still low on this phone. I can barely hear the other person on the other end. Any suggestions? Is there any way to get a better profiles? Im using a Motorola H385, it works fine on any other phone, but low on this galaxy s3.
Same here I have the Motorola Hx55 the volume was very high on my IPhone 4 but very low on my Galaxy Note 2. One thing I noticed is when playing music its very loud I have to turn it down but when in calls turned all the way up I barely can hear.

[Q] Please Help! Redirect Speaker Sound

My back speaker is busted, i broke it when i took the red backing off my phone. Now I want to redirect ALL sound through my front speaker, any suggestions on how this can be done? I know its quiet but need it to have my phone ring. Please help me
No, there is no known way on the Evo to redirect the phones audio from its rear speaker to ear speaker.
Either set vibrating notifications or replace the rear speaker.
That's disappointing, but I appreciate the help, I bought a mini speaker that plugs into the headphone port, that will work til I get my new phone in April, Thanks again!

That won't output notification and ringtones, I don't think. Let me know.
You could use a Bluetooth headset which notifies you VIA the headset of new messages and incoming calls.
My headphones ring when I get a call, so this should work, may depend on ROMs and kernals
