siemen's sx66

Hi I am very new to the world of smart phones, recently I bought he Sx66 by cingular from the USA and have unlocked. but would like to know if there are upgrades I should do as I live in Singapore.
My current ROM version is: 1.20.10 WWE
RADIO VERSION; 1.02.10
PROTOCOL VERSION: 1337.35
EXTROM VERSION: 1.20.115 WWE
CPU: INTEL(R)PXA263
SPEEP: 400 MHZ.
any advice would be great!!
also wondering if this configuration would be good for window 2005 when it comes out.

I have upgraded to 1.33.10 and 1.40 from 1.32.10. I had trouble with GPRS connects with 1.33.10 and 1.40.12x (issues with CallerID).
The following is the most stable so far:
ROM Version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM Date: 3/10/05
Radio Version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.124 WWE

I see that this post is about a year old, but I was wondering if there is a way to:
1) restore the 1.20.10 WWE ROM?
or
2) in July 2006, what is the most stable combination?

Check out the SX66 Standardization Project...
... This site is definitely the place to go for all LEGAL updates (WM2003 SE) to the SX66. It has been established with primarily two flavors (one for tmobile and one for cingular).
You'll need to adjust your GPRS/SMS/MMS etc settings to your local carrier, but it should take you a long way...

Just have one question, I have a T-Mobile MDA Pro (Universal) and I would like to have it localized to Arabic (Similar to iMate JasJar)....
Is it possible????????????????

You don't have to upgrade your device to any new rom ..
stay with your current rom , and install any arabizer software ..
there is alot of softwares like : imaginet , buy it , or look for it at ce4arab.com

HTC WM6 official ROM ver question?

i log in today to the htc member section to check on the new rom for hermes aka dopod 838 pro but only found wm6 rom for D810 and i found something strange

ROM date: 06/29/07
Radio version: 1.46.00.11
Protocol version: 32.79.7020.19H
the rom version is older than the cooked one we have here? is it because of the d810 have diff rom release than the hermes so that ver 3.00.707 is the same as hermes 3.33? or they just give us old rom update?

the D810 is for the Trinity... not the HERMES...

so yoyu trying say for diff model they have diff rom ver, in other word 3.00 on trinity it might not older rom just different from hermes one?

Anything newer than WinMobile 2003 for MDA compact I/ XDA mini?

after the purchase of my "T-Mobile MDA Compact I" 2 years ago I successfully flashed it to English with a help of this forum.
ROM: 1.12.00 WWE
ROM date: 05/28/05
Radio Version: 1.12.10
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtRom Version: 1.12.128 WWE
I am just wondering if any newer ROM is available?! Tried the search here and got loads of results but was not sure if they are for the first MDA compact.
If there is a newer ROM and good reasons to upgrade please let me know including download links or usefull links here in the forum.
