I have posted this down in Magician threads so for those who read those sorry for the double up
I recently brought/installed a OMIZ bluetooth keyboard, all works but it appears the blue function buttons are a little confused. If I press the "calender" shortcut it opens "contacts" and so on
Anyone got any tips or instructions on how to reprogram them (if that can even be done) I've had a bit of a look at the OMIZ website but no go in the faqs etc.
Cheers all for any thoughts

How would you change where the buttons on the touchflo cube point? Would it be possible to point the contacts icon on the cube to PocketCM instead of WM contacts.
Also, it would be nice to be able to keep the cube open behind the application you launch, so that when you exit, it goes back to the cube.
Sorry if this has been answered already, but i couldnt see it anywhere!
Thanks in advance,
Ben.
it has indeed been answered in another thread.
But especially for you: you can modify the Buttons via Biotouch in your Programs.. The Cube can't be held open. I guess it would eat a lot of Memory anyways..
Thankyou very much for you reply!
However, I dont see anywhere in "BioTouch Settings" that lets you define the contacts button that you get below the 9 quick dial pictures. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Ben
oh, this one you can't change afaik. The contacts page on the cube seems to be the program itselfes and if you click to the contacts symbol it changes the view to the contacts program.
read tom's first post of his B&B4 thread. he added a big list of how to change stuff. one of the entries reads:
"Want Set Pocket CM to default contacts ?? ----> HERE<------"
click it, read it, be happy
Hi,
I was wondering how to get the t9 utility when using the qwerty keyboard (sliding one, no touch screen one)
It was before, but know after install this ROM is no longer there
Any help please?
Hi Sniuk!
If I'm understanding right you want the word completion aka t9 (full words are suggested when typing few letters)..well just follow this explanation..
Go into the Settings screen..you'll find the "input" icon (placed between buttons at left and lock at right..)..just select and press it..a new screen will be in front of you..right?just look at the bottom..find and select the function "Word Completion" and you are in, just put a tick on "Suggest words when entering text" and..here you go!!
Settings-->Input-->World Completion-->Tick on Suggest Word Completion..
thanks for your answer but...
i havent got that "Word Completion" ... that`s the problem
i
I`ve been looking on all settings for it, but i cant find it.
i`ll update soon to schaps 3.54b or c , will see if there is that function on it.
cuz i really miss it
thanks again for answer me
regards
Thats weird...I had it with 3.57a. But now have flashed 3.54c which also has the 'word completion' tab.
ummm... might be a compatibility issue
i just flash it to 3.54c and it was the word compl. tab there, but after install japanese input and lets japan6 soft , it disapears >_<
...so I can't have both on my hermes?
Hi,
The /only/ thing I prefer on my old TouchPro and Kaiser phones was the hardware tab key, which has been removed from the new one.
Ive found a nice tool called AEKMap (http://ae.inc.ru/aekmap.php) which can re-map keys. It needs registering ($15) to get rid of the nag screen, but it works great.
Ive added a like
Key 00F2 k0009
which re-maps the mail envelope key to be tab. works in rdesktop, opera etc.
It looks like a very powerful utility for other uses as well, eg it can launch programs of key presses / combos etc. Im gonna have a good play later, but for now it was worth the £15 to get tab back

Hi!
Finally I find someone with a solution to this annoying problem
But I don´t understand how to remap the key.
The layot for Rhodium is not to be found.
And I have a Swedish phone, with special letters as function keys, does that mean that the solution is different as well (and I don´t want to destroy it)?
/Danne
look in the Rhodium apps, tweaks, themes, etc forum. someone wrote a remapping program & its free. i currently have my Messaging key mapped as an "OK" key
Hi!
They removed the tab-button (at least on the swedish keyboard) which I use frequently. I can´t find it in the virtual keyboard either. How do I create a hardware keyboard shortcut?
There are some other shortcuts I would like to create as well (to calender and maybe more).
Please be concrete, I don´t know how to change registry and such.
/Derik
Anybody have an idea?
The D-pad buttons act sort of like the tab button. Press the desired direction followed by the enter button to activate the filed you wish you had tabbed to.
haha

Click to collapse
Where are the D-pad buttons on TP2? Did I miss something?
Did you mean the directional keys?
The things is that I use it within Worddocuments to make indentations (Swedish: indrag) in the text with with list bullets. So I really need a tab-button.
I´m just reviveving the thread again.
There must be some way to be able to use a tab-function? All the hightech here... It´s essential in my writing, which is the main reason I have the TP2.
hey people, i've been searching for over two hours on how to map the "ok" button to do what it normally does...
i'm on energy rom right now, with everything necessary installed to map keys on my att tilt 2.
what action do i map the "ok" key to?
i've searched and:
i cant find "back to previous screen"
if you map it as close window, and you click the windows key and the ok, the windows key no longer works
(forgot where i found that piece of advice)
what do i do?!
and sorry if its been answered many times, i really cant find it!
EDIT:
FOUND THE SOLUTION, at the bottom of the page. WORKS FLAWLESSLY!
Funnily enough I had to search to see what you were talking about. I assume the OK key on the keyboard.
I can only guess the best mapping would be to the OK in the upper right hand of menus for programs.
What ok button? A hardware button or a software button?
on the att tilt2 theres an "ok" button between shift and home on the keyboard.
i dont know what to map the button to in order for it to work like it supposed to in the original rom and i cant find the solution anywhere.
Bottom row from left to right:
Tilt2: shift, OK, Home, comma (mail), space
TP2: FN, Mail, SMS, comma (SYM), space
Sorry, don't think that there is a solution for mapping the OK button yet. The best you can do is to map it to minimize the current window. This is one of the reasons why I'm switching to RRE's rom, as it includes the AT&T keyboard dll. I use text/email a lot with the keyboard out and want to be able to use the ok to close the message and go back to the message list. You can only do that if the original OK functionality is present.
best bet is to use this program to do so...works great!!
