Hi,
I have a HP 2110 where I managed to put WM5. I need to reinstall W2003. I found the rom package on HP web site. The problem is that the utility does not want to overwrite the actual rom.
Any idea on how to do it ?

but if it came with wm5 wm3se was prob never made for it
in which case the work to make a wm3se rom for it will
require more manhours then any pda is likely to be worth
if it came with wm3se then downgrading usualy works just like upgrading
how? you would know to help me?

I get an wrong language error!
Try to first put the device in bootloader mode(press 2+4+reset buttons, you will see the screen to become blank), connect it with the cable and push calendar button(1). After run the upgrade utility again.
EDIT:
You can also put the unofficial english wm6 rom for hx2xxx series.

If you get wrong language error, you will have to initially start the flash with a rom that is the correct language - after the program goes through all the verifications, replace the rom with the rom/language of your choice and then hit the update button.

Hellow Guys. I have bought a Hp hx 2400 PDA with Windows Mobile 5. The problem is that WM5 is in Spanish Language! Is there any solution to change or Reinstall WM5 To English Language. ?? Or there is an Upgrade to WM6?? I am new in this are of PDA! If u will Sugest me wm6 upgrade i need to be sure like everyguy i guess that it's going to work. Thanks!!

Hy everyone!
Is it possible to backup the original ROM from my iPAQ? If yes, how?
I tried download image from here. But it ran through all the night and nothing happend(iPAQ is still working..).
I didn't make any updates or upgrades, so I'm running Windows Mobile 6.0 German. I only want to back it up so I can upgrade to WM6.1 from Yevg001.
If I'm able to get it down from my iPAQ I will put it on rapidshare so everybody can download it.
