Problem with the SMS option on the XDA IIs

Hi guys,
I recently bought an unlocked XDA IIs, and it's working great except for one problem that I'm unable to send text messages. Everytime I try sending a text, it gives me an error saying "The message was undeliverable. please contact your service provider to activate the messaging service." I'm able to receive texts, but am unable to send any. It's running the windows 2003 platform. I also tried keying in the message service centre number for the text msging service manually, but to no avail.
This phone was previously on the o2 network in the UK, but i'm now in a different part of europe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
do you have your message service center correctly configured?
yea...i checked the message centre number on 2 of my other phones ...and they're both the same and it works on those.
Also...I've got tomtom 6 for my pda....was wondering about which gps receiver would you all suggest me to get??
Hi again guys,
The problem still persists....any suggestions at all would be really helpful. Is it possible that the phone was partly unlocked? rather than fully? If so...what can i do to fix it? It's a request, please help me out.
Thank you.

WLM sign in problem

I have recently upgraded to WM6 but now when i sign in to Windows Live Messenger it never shows online contacts and does nt show me as online to others even though i can recieve messages as i have got a friend to try it, the message came through.
has anyone else experienced this and if so, have you found a solution?

3 windows 6.1 problems

I like the 6.1 upgrade but I continue to have problems.
1. I cant text anyone. I get "The following errors occurred while sending and receiving messages: Your text message cannot be sent"
2. I cannot connect to Oz/Yahoo messenger anymore. Even re-installed and still wont connect
3. When I type via Opera Mini or Yahoo messenger (when it was working), I used to get an auto text feature that remembered everything I ever wrote so I didnt have to finish typing. Thats gone too
Im considering re-installing 6.1 to get those features back. They all used to work but have suddenly stopped
same here, i no longer have aim / oz messenger which i loved! i figured out the keymap issue with the @ symbol.
as far as oz messenger goes im getting a text msg while trying to sign on which says successful, but it ends up saying communication error. when i had wm6 i never got that text message, even if i didnt connect, why?? anyone get this working or figured out yet?
check out parlingo.com it blows away that oz crap !!
Yes but does parlingo.com use the SMS service not the internet for texting?
i just downloaded, it doesnt seem to. But its awesomeeee!
Oh yah it doesnt use the SMS service, you need internet for this which sucks...

Msn mobile no longer working?

I have an issue that has been happening for a while now on Bell in Canada.
I can recieve messages from msn users on my msn list as always , but my phone will no longer let me reply to them. Anyone know if this is because Bell has changed something , or Microsoft has changed something that can be undone? thx
