Perhaps you know any application which can do this:
Let's say im playing music trough my headphones and then i receive a call and know i want a program to do this:
-temporary disable headphone and use only speaker and after im done with my call it should enable the headphone and resume the music.
I wanted to share music with a friend on the other side when a call is going on. But when I play something on the Music or youtube app, the person on the side can't hear anything. Is there any app that can make it possible?
Just got the Note II and am trying to get the phone to ring through a bluetooth media speaker. When I am selecting different ring tones they will play through the bluetooth speaker as well as through the phone, but when the phone actually rings it will only ring on the phone itself. I have searched through various forums and can't find anyone asking the same question. I've also tried looking for an app that will route the audio to the speaker, but no solution yet. Has anyone any ideas please?
Search for Soundabout in the app store. I use it and can route my Bluetooth sound, media and phone, to wherever I want it
sent from somewhere
Thanks for that, I'm trying it but at the moment I can get everything to play through the bt speak, apart from when the phone rings.
Make sure, in the Bluetooth settings for your speakers, that media and phone are connected. I have the phone ringing through my Bluetooth audio
sent from somewhere
My bluetooth speaker settings only have the option to use it for media audio, and not for phone audio. With my bt headset I have the option for both phone and media audio. I'm assuming that the phone ring is coming through as phone audio. The annoying thing is that every other sound will come through on the speaker, key presses etc, and the ring tones when I am setting the volumes, but not when the phone actually rings or when messages come in.
With SoundAbout there is no option for the phone call audio to be sent to an A2DP bt device, so I think I'm stuck there as well.
Hi guys, I'm having this weird issue while in a video call either Tango or Oovoo, both have the same issues.
once the call starts, the sound will play through the speakers as normal, but after around 30 seconds or so, the sound instead will be routed to the earpiece and i cannot find any buttons to force the phone to play the sound through the speakers instead. I had to use a earphone in order to proceed with the video call else i can't hear the other party as the sound is playing through the earpiece.
Googled and couldn't find anybody having the same issue as me.
Currently running ViperX rom 3.3.8
Thanks guys!
Is anyone else getting poor custom ringtone quality on the Pixel 2 XL? When I play the file (mp3, wav, whatever) directly from the file system on the phone, like the ringtones folder, the sound is much fuller, louder, and truer to original quality than when it is played in the ringtone selection screen or when the phone rings. When the phone rings, the ringtone comes through sounding super compressed and tinny.
Is anyone else having this issue? If so, does anyone know how to fix it?
Just tested and yes I hear a difference between what Textra plays verses playing the file in a music app.
I figured out part of the problem. The ringtone only plays through the bottom speaker whereas the file played elsewhere is played through both speakers. I don't know if there's a way to enable both speakers for ringtones without unlocking/rooting though.
I'd like to resurrect this post. Has anyone found a solution? I had the same problem on my previous phone as well. If I play a sound file using play music, it sounds great. If I set that same file as a ringtone, it sounds awful.
Is there any solution about that issue?
Mine are fine. Both speakers. created with Ringtone Maker.
