I'm gutted to have discovered that I can't use bluetooth headphones to play music with my XDAIIs, as they only have bluetooth 1.1, so I'm told. Is an upgrade possible, and if so, how? All advice very welcome indeed!

For anybody who is interested. I have a bluetooth headset HBH-200 and also a Fortuna Gpsmart bluetooth gps running Tomtom2, they both work at the same time without problem. When the headset/handsfree issue is sorted out I hope to be able to use the full capability of the HBH-200, will that include being able to listen to mp3 or the output from tomtom through the headset. The reason I posted this is because I have heard others that cant get 2 devices to work at the same time on the bluetooth. I am using the standard xda2 without patches for bluetooth.
what make is the hbh-200?
lmk cheers mate

that is all anybody knows. unless you work inside imate, o2 or htc, then you have a snow balls chance in hell of getting any commitment on dates.
For JASJAR use the following trick to listen to your music through bluetooth headset I ound it in a very famuose arabic forum) and it worked
1. pair the device with the bluetooth headset.
2. Lock the screen using the screen lock button.
3. press once the bluetooth headset to (TRY) to make a call.
Of course nothing will happen because the screen is locked.
4. Unlock the screen and open your file to listen to the music through your headset.
Hi
I have my Motorola HT8200 Bluetooth Headset working happily with my XDA Exec...but only for making/receiving calls. I wonder if any of you guys out there could advise me if it is possible to utilise them further and so I can listen to music through them via my XDA? I suspect I may need to download some software...for example music playing software that is Bluetooth compatible with my headset but so far my search has proved fruitless. So to surmise they do work fine for making/receiving calls but would love to listen to music with the Headset as well.
Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated in advance.

Upgrade your ROM to 2.24 or higher
The factory installed ROM doesn't have support for A2DP stereo. I upgraded and it works beautifully. I got an HT820 of a bad bunch from Hong Kong that skips/cuts out every 20 seconds average. Motorola replaced it. Here's a link to the ROM I used:

Hi All,
I've got a Dopod C730, I'm loving the device except for some problems I'm having with bluetooth devices. I've recently bought a Jabra BT320s Stereo bluetooth headset and a iBT-GPS bluetooth GPS receiver.
I can pair these devices with my phone, but on the Jabra I can't see the stereo profile and I can't see how to set up the com-port for the GPS, I'd particularly like to use it with Google Maps
Anny help would be appreciated

That'll teach me not to search. This was just what I was looking for
Now I just need to workout what's happening with my headset.
Anyone else got a Jabra BT320s?
I do -- it works well with my T-Mobile Dash, but it's got completely different innards than a Cavalier.
