I have a t-mobile MDA PRO(Qtek 9000 or Universal).
I want to download the new CU 2 Rom german, but i have troubles.
Download at Qtek.con do not work, because my t-mobile IMEI number do not allow access.
Download at the ftp.xda-developers.com do not work, because the first
german Qtek ROm is corrupt. Download stops afte two minutes, the other
Qtek german Rom belongs not to MDA PRO, but to MDA III.
Can anybodyx give me a working link, or a OMEI number for QTek homepage or give me a working ftp link ?

Hello everybody,
I bougth in Moscou (Russia) MDA III TMobile with WWE ROM version (I can't remember number of version). Two days ago I updated my MDA with new ROM version (T-Mobile GER 1.22.01 1.22.118 1.06.00) - I was inattentive about German languages.
Unfortunately I don't now German language and I would like to change my MDA III TMobile to new English ROM version. I try, but I can't - new ROM version (GER 1.22.01) refuse to recognize others ROM versions and update to other on.
I am Cingular user and tehnicians can't explane my, how to work in German version.
Please help me to change my MDA III TMobile to English ROM version.

just a quick question.
I know that Qtek 9100, I-Mate K-Jam, T-Mobile MDA Vario, they are all the same pocket pc (the wizard).
Now the question: can I load every rom on every device? For example, can I buy a Qtek 9100 WWE and load a K-Jam italian Rom? Or buy a T-Mobile MDA Vario German and load a Qtek 9100 WWE Rom?
Is it easy? Or is necessary to tweak something?
And last one: is it possible to unlock the t-mobile mda vario sold at this site? http://www.smartphonestunts.nl/index.php?tid=5

currently there are no sim unlock proggies availible yet for this phone.. (maybe itsme wants to help out some )

The FTP holds a perfect Dutch Qtek 9100 ROM, but is there also a Dutch Qtek 9000 ROM available? I browsed the FTP for a while, but I don't really think it's there.
Maybe I should ask: does a Dutch Qtek 9000 ROM even exist??

I asked the distributor today and nope, there is no Dutch release of the Qtek 9000 ROM, due to insufficient request.
Unfortunately there are not even plans in releasing the Dutch version.

If you see the gapes in the dutch Rom of the 9100 its better to stay with the WWE.
Although my desktop has a Dutch Windows XP running, I got used to an MDA in English in no time, just see them as two different things.
On tweakers.net is someone saying there will be a dutch T-mobile ROM in februari. hopefully (i don't know) this ROM has also AKU2.
Tmobile told me that there will be a dutch version for the MDA Pro, availleble in march and including MSN
I bought a MDA (T-Mobile) similar to SPV M5000 and QTEK 9000
in Germany and it is in german language...
I would like to change the ROM into a FRENCH language.
Could you tell me where I could dowload a full ROM version in french ?

I recently bought a T-Mobile MDA PRO (QTEK 9000) in Germany. The language is completely in German, do you know if there is any chance that I can get the system software in Italian for free? Or do I have to buy it somewhere?

Yes you can do it for free
It si very easy. First dawnload ROM in Italian language and than dawnload Maupgrade_NoID and put them together in one folder. Extract Italian ROM and you will get several files and than put your pocket pc on Boatloader mode (Pres in the same time light button, power ON/OFF button and Soft reset) and than run Maupgrade_NoID. Wait some time and that's it

there is a Italian ROM in ftp site. Qtek has version: UNI_QTEK_13089_177_10900_ITA_Ship.exe.
