Update your ROM. I'm using a Magician 1.13 WWE, and mine works fine, despite that I've seen other people with Magicians complain that it doesn't work.

Well i have upgraded my Dash Rom to WM6.1 and no major issues so far. One thing is bothering me though. I had BB Connect (version .67) with WM6 and it worked just fine, but its completely dead with 6.1. I have tried all possible versions of BB Connect with no success. The PIN and everything is generated, but the IP is not connected. Is there anything and/or any version of BB Connect that can be used? I need my BB connect to get my work mails. since im on the BES Server.
INFO:
Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
Radio Version 4.1.13.51_03.07.90
CE OS 5.2.19700 (Build 19700.1.0.0)
I dont know what is needed, so i included the above.
Plz Help.
Hi Buddy
I'm really sorry to report I read that all v4 Blackberry Connect versions require WM6.0 and will not function with WM6.1. I also read that RIM has decided to cease development of BBConnect for WM.
Sorry, I have the same problem so if you ever resolve it PM me but I am now pushing at my company to see if we can get PushMail running...
Yours
Leon
Something is weird with my Artemis.
When I try to download movie from my PC using Wi-Fi connection (or ActiveSync, does not matter) it starts copying at 200..300 Kb/sec, then after 10..15 Mb slows down to 30..40 Kb/sec.. Is there any way to speed up that electronic bastard? My friend got HTC Touch with MicroSD card like my one and no problems - 200-400 Kb/sec, no matter he's using WiFi or USB...
Maybe that matters, I do not know.
PC is running Vista Business, Artemis - O2 Premium 2.0 WM6 WWE ROM lite.
Help!! please....
I'm having a problem with Mapking on my X1.
I have been using MapKing software in Hong Kong for a number of years. I have version 5 and have had it working well on my last device (ipaq H4150) with Windows mobile 2003 with a sd card GPS.
I have now upgraded to a new device (Sony Ericsson X1) with windows 6.1. Mapking 5 has installed ok but I can't get it to work with the internal GPS. Whenever I try to start the GPS within Mapking, Mapking freezes. Everything else about the map works fine without starting the GPS.
I can get the internal gps working with all other gps programs I have tried (4 or 5 freeware or trial versions). I have also tried to use gateway software - GPS Gate, that works fine with all other software, but no success with mapking.
I have searched XDA-developers forum and found several questions about Mapking2007 and R12, but nothing about v5 on windows 6.1.
Having had so many of my questions answered over the past year on XDA by reading existing posts, I thought I would make the leap and start a post.
Can anyone help?
