amazing forum, a bit out of my depth, heres my problem.
Got orange m1000 off ebay. worked fine phone and gprs with my Orange sim but no others.
ran unlock tool second version. Now original Orange sim won't work on anything (although sim still works in old phone) Doesn't work on O2 either. But phone does work on an old t mobile PAYG. When I try orange/ o2 sim i just get "!" next to phone signal icon.
So I am looking for any solutions from some of you awesome programmers.
Other recent attempts history;
Thought I would fix it by downloading upgrade 1.66 from orange - but that just put me on the country lock "cold sweat" :shock: serial 1.06 saga. spent several days reading forum and fixed that with W4XY himupgradeut on a imateupgrade (thanks for that), then fixed this similalry to uk orange update ext rom - wow all that extra memory.
Just need help please sorting out this signal

I updated xda2unlock, to now be able to unlock all htc pda models since the xda2: the himalaya, magician, blueangel, and alpine.
HOW TO USE:
copy it to your phone, and run it.
some diagnostic output will be in the file \xdadev_all_unlock.log
if it gives an error, try resetting, and running it again.
if for some reason your phone is suddenly locked, the unlock code will probably be '00000000'
no coldboot required.
model numbers supported:
himalaya: PH10A PH10B
alpine: PH10C PH10D
magician: PM10A PM10B PM10C
blueangel: PH20B, PH20B1, ...
warning: use at your own risk. .... read the thread for user (dis)satisfaction reports.
in case of problems
try to run this tool using 'prun \xdadev_all_unlock-v1.6.exe -q -f'
see page 11 of this thread for details.
DOES NOT WORK FOR:: wallaby, smartphones, harrier, cdma phones.
and I am not able to relock the phone for you.
so, if for whatever reason you may get in trouble for unlocking your phone, that is your problem.

does it change the radio stack?
what happens if you unlock and then upgrade the stack?

Just my 2 cents, but i think since many people could save now money cause unlocking of the devices is nor for free, they could donate the money to the xda-developers and help to keep the site up and free....... ;-)

I have run the Xda Developers XDA11UNLOCK tool v1.2 it reads after opening the comm port The phone seems unlocked already ,but when i put a simm card in not O2 T-mobil etc it states ,network is locked ask's for code which i input 2040248 push ,ok,It then states incorrect code you have tried 2147467258 times,please wait until time out.HELP PLEASE in simple language as I am not that computor literate THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! :roll:

XDA II unlocking problem need help for reflashing
i have the same problem. me being so stupid paid GSM liberty 80 USD. and i am getting same message. we need help can somebody advise us what we are doing wrong.
At random times throughout the day, my phone shows a message that reads "SIM Card Is Missing Or Is Invalid" and the phone part of the Excalibur is useless as it acts as if there is no SIM card.
I had the SIM card replaced by T-Mobile about a month ago and that solved the problem for a couple of days, but now it's back. I made sure the card is aligned right and clean.
My Specs are as follows:
Network: T-Moblie
Bought From: Ebay
Branded: Yes
Sim Unlocked: No
App Unlocked: Yes
WM 6.1 Standard (Kavanna)
Radio Version 4.1.13.51_03.07.90
RIL Version 2.002

I'm not an expert or anything but why don't you try to use another ROM? I'm currently using EneryROM Release 50709a. Here's the link for the download:

Flash it and see how it goes. This version of the ROM is working fine for me and other members in the forum. My specs are almost the same as yours.

Hi all.
Im trying to unlock a palm treo 500v from vodafone spain. I already flashed 3 ROMs from caramba_sda (my_rose wm6.1, 6.5.2 and 6.5.3) and the phone works well with all 3 (the vodafone skin is gone for good!) but te problem comes when i try with a different sim card from movistar. The phone shows: sim card locked from the target network. It remains locked!
Is there anything to do besides the ROM flashing? Is there a unlock code calculator for this phones? Is there any chance to unlock this phone?
Please i need some help. I already have ordered a sim card from another operator and in a few days the vodafone sim will die!!
Please help me! Its a nice phone and i dont want to leave it in the drawer, or using it as a paper weight!
