I am looking for a program on pocketpc or WM 5.0 that allows u to send text messages AND im's similar to the way AIM and yahoo windows versions allows you to send text messages to a number in the US. I am in india and trying to find ways on keeping in touch with friends and family in the US.
I can send international text messages but that would be too costly after a while.
and Agile and Aim for pocketpc dont allow you to send text messages to phone numbers.
Any help is appreciated.
All,
I am looking for an sms software that will allow me to sync my blue Angel sms texts messages with outlook 2003. I have tried Jeyo Mobile Extender and was wondering if anyone can recommend any other?
Thanks

I use Outlook 2007 fairly intensively and would love a way to be able to set up sms sync between phone and outlook in a similar way to email.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
I don't think this is possible as I would have done it a long time ago.
However, there is a free program which you can download and when you connect your phone via Active Sync, you can see/send/receive text messages from you PC.
It's called Mobile Express made by Efficasoft
Have you tried 'Microsoft My Phone', you can see and sync all your SMS to and from the internet using your live account.
Not realy what you asked for but its along those lines
I use Jeyo mobile extender 2.5

Hi All,
I use an XDA Orbit, running WM6. (CE OS 5.2.1238 Build 17745.0.2.3)
I have recently added some POP3 email addresses (Not MSexchange ) they work fine and download ok etc..
My only problem is that the phone doesnt seem to `wake-up` from standby mode when a new email comes in.
Like, When I get a new SMS, the phone wakes up from standby/sleep mode, so then i can see the bubble on the screen. I dont get this with email, but i
do get the audio?
Is there a registry setting or something im missing to get the phone to wake
up and activate when i get a new email notificaton?
Thanks
...
dont know how this is related but i use windows live for my email..
but in the.. txt/email message options..
menu - options - hotmail - sync schedule - as items arrive..
*it gets the emails come through like txt messages..
Hi,
Send and recieve sms text messages from your computer via the mobile device connect through ActiveSync.
There will be 2 distinct editions; Standalone Edition and the Outlook Edition
The Outlook Edition will be available for Outlook 2003/2007/2010
It will be ready for both x32 and x64 versions of Windows.
Initial releases won't read data from the SIM card
Sounds cool.
Sending from Outlook will be very useful i guess.
thanks.
