Well, first of all, hello,
I've recently bought a Vodafone VPA III, which I presume was already flashed with WM2003SE, since it doesn't have any vodafone specific options nor sim-lock.
My first problem is that it wouldn't connect to gprs, it goes on, and gives me a message that modem was disconnected, and that I should alter my settings, which, according to my provider, are as they should be.
Second, I previously had a Qtek 2020, which had the same technical characteristics as this one (except it had WM2003), and it was twice as fast as this one. What could the reason for that be?

Hey Everyone,
Does anyone experience when an sms is sent to someone that has let`s say 300 character`s (so 2 sms`s) that only the last part or sometimes the first part is being received ? I recently upgraded to ROM 1.40 and haven`t had it with older roms. Well, not much maybe once or twice.

Living in Vietnam, I have just upgrade my ROMS to as follows:

however now I get Thai words in the owner info / screen align and actually O2 have new upgrade from May 2005 as follows:

Should I have the upgrade redone or just leave as is everything works ok except for the Thai issues ??

Does anyone know if the Vodafone 1620 PDA is exactly the same as the Qtek 9090
If it is what is the latest ROM upgrade, please ?
Lastly my i-mate Pocket PC [another PDA] fell into some water and I now need a complete new screen and the back of case [not the battery cover] has been cracked, does anyone know where I can purchase the parts for this PDA, please ?

It is presumably a locked model because Vodafone supplied it in a Vodafone Branded box !

Had the same problem with my IIs after I bought it off ebay and tinkered with it to unlock it. After I reflashed the current rom and radio version from O2's software upgrade section for the IIs, all was fixed, and phone was still unlocked.
