I am using the latest radio (1.30) and the rest from the latest rom.
I have intellipad and intellidial set as default SIP.
I only have one "Today" plug-in running, Phone Dashboard, so not many memory issue, I think.
After using my BA to surf internet with WIFI (say 5 minutes or more), I cannot start my Bluetooth. Error message says about something like not enough memory to start the Bluetooth.
I guess the memory used by WIFI is still in memory even after switching off the WIFI radio. The only solution for me is a soft reset.
Is there any other solution?
Do any of you guys face this problem?
Correction, radio is 1.13.00 not 1.30.
Any one has with problem?
If I turn on bluetooth, I cannot connet to Wi-Fi.
which rom? black3?
I have Dutty's Windows Mobile 6 Premium v2
I dunno, I have Dutty v2 medium on my 8525 and both wifi and bluetooth are working together, howbeit, wifi is quite slow on loading sites on PIE. I'm doing both right now, listening on my bluetooth headpiece, while online with wifi, not cingular. So it's not Dutty's ROM.
i had no bluetooth when switch wifi on with black3. try custels new rom, he will release it in a few hours.

Anybody had this wifi problem
Morning all
I upgraded to Black 3.0.1 on Friday. My radio is 1.41.00.10, and SPL.2.10.Olipro
Since upgrading my wifi performance is terrible. I litterally have to stand next to my router to connect. It used to be great. I've tried it on 4 wireless networks, all the same result. I've set the performance slider on the phone, and this hasn't altered it.
Has anybody got any ideas?
Korihor, try this link. Maybe it'll help. But you gotta read and search!

ablousov and Chiefcooker, I've already told you both bluetooth and wifi work together on Dutty's v2. and I've tried both together on the new lvsw ROM, also this afternoon, and they work well togetherwith that ROM. I found that I have to turn the wifi on 1st, and then turn on the BT 2nd to listen to any mp3 on WMP via my BT earpiece. Now if you're talking about streaming on a BT headset, I don't do that,so I wouldn't know.
Thanks, will try it.
Update: I downgraded the SPL, and still no luck with it. I'm sat about 3 metres from an access point, with one wall between us. Always got an excellent signal, and still shows as unavailable.
Thanks anyway
Gary

IT s a known problem with the black rom which happens intermittently... It seems to do something with the wireless performance... Some people are unable to connect at all...
Just have to hope for a fix....
I am using a tmobile vario 2 and am getting the same issue...
Ive had an O2 Orbit for a few months now, and have to say its the best phone ive ever owned, I used to own an XDA Mini S.
However just a few questions.
1) My wifi disconnects all the time, literally withing 1-2 mins of connecting to the wifi, I have no idea why its doing it, DCHP is set up manually, and im using a Belkin N1.
2) Im using No Data to stop the GPRS from connecting when IE opens accidently in my pocket and ends up costing me £7 a month in bloody errors! But i was wondering with GPRS stopped will I not know if someone has sent me an MMS?
3) Is there a decent Music player that will play music off the network, at the moment TCPMP is the only one that works, but its interface does not really apply well to song playback.
4) Another annoying thing! It appears when I turn the screen off, it seems to disconnect the wifi (although that could be more 1 related), and also turns off the sound, so it means I have to have the screen on in my pocket if i want to listen to music!
Sorry for the multiple questions!
WIFI could be a number of things.....most important thought what ROM are you running? Are you still plugging along with WM5, If you are I strongly suggest you give Tom Codon's Black and Blue Version 3 a spin. This will probably resolve a couple of your issues and is rock solid stable.
IIRC having GPRS stopped won't stop notification of an MMS, I'm sure you will receive a standard SMS message to alert you that you have a message waiting for download, you will need to re-enable your GPRS to download it.
I use Pocket Lan to give me access to Network shares, and have found pPod a pretty easy piece of music software to live with.
Turning off the screen should not affect your WIFI connection, is your WIFI running at full power within the phone, as I along with many others have found that this is the only setting that makes the WIFI function useable.
Take a look at the WM6 Artemis thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=362 and read up on B&B3 from Tom, and BE VERY sure you have read the instructions and use USPL, the upgrade to WM6 is easy and will BLOW you away....

2) MMS is sent over O2 Active (O2 WAP) Internet Explorer will not connect to O2 over WAP so you can leave the settings for that available when you run a program called No GPRS. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=40638&d=1180860606
4) When you press the button on the side you don't just turn of the screen, you put the device into standby. It works differently to your previous device in that respect. There is no work around for Windows Media Player as far as I know, WMP forces the screen to stay on on a dim setting. Take a look at Mortplayer as an alternative: http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=page&entry=mp_overview&action=view It has settings that allow the screen to turn it's self off whilst in use.
Thanks for replies.
Ill have a look into upgrading to wm6 I was hoping o2 would have an official rom out by now!

It is soon, very soon.
Hey all. I've tried searching over and over for the forums, but I can't find an answer to my specific problem. So, here's the deal:
I use a regular/mono bluetooth headset. I have a Cingular 8525 which originally had WM5. I had no problem with my bluetooth headset. Ever since the WM6 ROMs have been made available, I've tried a few different ones. No matter which one I've tried, my bluetooth headset now starts randomly stops pairing/dropping the call in a middle of a conversation.
It's strange because technically a bluetooth headset disconnect shouldn't drop my call at the same time, but it seems to do both. I have a good signal strength, so that's not the issue. I've tried the different radio ROMs (now I'm on ROM 1.50.00.10 or something), and it still does the same thing.
I've read where maybe it's the A2DP settings that is messing up with my headset, but I'm not sure if that's it. What do you guys recommend or is anyone having a similar problem? It's very annoying that I keep getting my calls via headset dropped, and I'd like to avoid just reverting back to WM5 to fix the problem...
Thanks.
I had similar problems with some of the initial builds of the WM6 ROMs. But I am now running vp3G's fantastic ROM and have had zero problems/drops from BT. I can't promise you won't have problems but for me it's been great.
having the same problem
not as bad as you are. But when i want to make a call the headset is not connected to the phone. Im using the jawbone. Like you no problems with wm5. Now I have to soft reset 3 or 5 times a day. Im also using VP3G rom
I've had similar issues, I have a moto h500 and h700, and I've had the problem with VP3G and the new TNT ROM.
I've noticed this particularly with the MS VC 1.6 (I'm using the "BT Fixed MS VC 1.6 8525" cab which from what I've seen is the only one that consistently transfers audio to the headset) so I'll do the inital voice command which usually works, but then after the first ring or so the headset disconnects (still paired though). I can then go into the menu during the call and choose "Use Headset On" and get the audio back, but I shouldn't have to do that in the first place.
I've had the same issue with both roms and with radios 1.48 and 1.51
If anyone has a similar setup working as it should, which radios/roms/headsets/and VC installs are you using?
Thanks!
I've found part of the issue almost appears to be a 'timeout' of sorts, where if the phone rings for awhile without a connection, it disconnects the bluetooth....does anyone know of any registry settings etc for this?
Other than general WM6, it doesn't seem to be ROM-specific for me. I've tried a few different WM6 ROMs and they all do the same thing. Interestingly, radio 1.40.30.00 seems not to do it as much as the other radios. So, I've stuck with that one after trying everything else. I thought maybe part of it could be the AD2P settings in WM6 causing the problems.. because I don't have a stereo headset, but I'm not sure what the WM5 settings are for the bluetooth or if there's a way to turn off AD2P and that would make it work...
with radio 1.40.30.00 though i don't get any more of the disconnects... only when I put my landline phone (connected via bluetooth to the cell) on speakerphone does it drop the call... weird, but it does it pretty consistently. using the landline phone regularly without speakerphone i don't get a drop call.
p.s. i'm using cingular's 8525, in charleston, south carolina. currently running Sleuth's 3.54c ROM with radio 1.40.30.00
I have problems with my Bluetooth and the paired device in the car with almost every recent ROM.
After about 10 minutes driving with a connected phone, the Bluetooth shuts down on my Diamond. When I go to Settings -> ... > Bluetooth -> Mode -> Turn on Bluetooth is unchecked. If I check it again it connects again with the phone and about 10 minutes later it's off again.
I went back to the RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.93.479.3_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe. It's against my feelings, believe, etc. but I want to solve it .....
I installed Advanced Configuration Tool (3.0), went to Bluetooth -> Audio gateway power save and Disabled it. I did it because I was reading about suspended devices and power save features. I thought that the loss of Bluetooth is been caused by a saving power feature.
After a soft reset, the Bluetooth stays connected.
It's a start, but I'm not happy with it ... I would like to use cooked ROM's and optimal settings in the ROM.
There are other tweaks too in Bluetooth, for example the supported bitpool, etc. Perhaps those settings cause the shutdown of a connected Bluetooth device instaed of the power save feature.
Has anyone this kind of problems too with paired Bluetooth devices?
If so, would you like to help me to find the cause?
If not, can you describe what device you use (Jabra, TomTom, car radio, etc.), which ROM, which radio and extra tweaks?
Hi
I do have the same problem. I am using my Diamond with my Opel Astra (Vauxhall) and a CD70 radio with built in handsfree (Opel UHP). It disconnects after 10 minutes and after calls. Everything else works fine. Changing rom and radios has not helped so far. If I don't close the comm manager it stays connected but disconnects after a call because the comm manager is closed with the end of the call. Is there a way to force the comm manager not to close?

I have a CD70 too in a Opel Zafira.
This "comm manager" thing is interesting, but it looks to me like an Opel issue.

That's an option, but my Trinity (P3600) performed great with the same car. Will an upgrade solve my problems? I know one thing, it's not cheap either.
I tried it with different ROM's, but it still happens.
I tried it with different radio's, nothing changed.
Till today, I've got now the new radio (v1.05.25.BS14).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432770
It has fixed the delays in GPS + faster GPS fix and more important fo me Bluetooth didn't stop today.
I'm sure 100% sure yet, but seems to be better.
I got something to complain too about the new radio. The radio signal is less strong than the .05 radio.
Same problem here
My Vectra is equipped with CD70.
Previously I've owned a Kaiser and the problem was solved by one of the 6.1 radios, bluetooth connection was rock solid.
Right now I have the same problem with Diamond - after every single phone connection, when I'll hangup, the phone disconnects CD70. When I'll try to reconnect manually using CD70 everything is fine.
I've noticed that the same problem exists when I'm using Nokia bluetooth headset - one call, bluetooth connection dropped...
I've tried following Diamond radios:
.05
.07
.08
.BS14
and two Raphael radios by Bepe:
1.03.25.18
1.02.25.11
Each Diamond radio behaves the same way. Each Raphael radio adds a bonus - random bluetooth connection problems.
Right now I'm back with .05, I think I'll look for the software I've seen once (can't recall the name) - it's a PDA application designed for connecting to the car bluetooth systems and it has been cerftified to work fine with CD70.
Use Jetware Mobile for htc-diamond.
jetware
That's the software I couldn't remember the name.
Anyway I gave it a shot and it gets even worse, I couldnt get the connection lasting longer then 2-3 minutes, totally unstable
Right now I got back to radio .08 - the bluetooth link is rock solid, I guess I'll just need to get used to reconnecting after each phone call
Same bluetooth system in my car, same problems as you guys.
To avoid the disconnections after calls you need to go, with 'Advanced Config' to bluetooth->Audio gateway power save, and switch it to disabled.
For me this little change solve the 'first' problem, but I have another one that I don't know how to solve: the aparently random bluetooth disconections. Sometimes BT is not disconnected in hours, sometimes in days.
I am also using Jetware Mobile, but i didn't feel any improve...
The random ones depend on the radio rom version - I was using .05 and it was rock solid.
I will try .16 with audio gateway started and with power save disabled as you advised - I thought about it earler but previously I tried to disable the power save without enabling audiogateway service
Well, we will see if it works or not.
Hi,
I also have a Vectra CD/70 combination, for 2 yrs now.
I had a HTC3300 and 2years i had not a single problem with Bluetooth connection.
Now i have a HTC Diamond Touch Pro and have the same problems you guys have.
I tried all your suggestions, radio's and so on with no good result.
The good news is .. its an Opel problem and it seems to be that a Bluetooth Firmware Upgrade is available from Opel Germany. I just contacted my dealer and next week he will Upgrade my bluetooth firmware.
I will keep you guys informed.
Hello,
had the same problem with my Opel CD70.
Using Jetware Mobile and limited the entrys who copied to the car to a max. of 5. Also disable the call lists. Now it works.
I think the Opel/Vauxhall Bluetooth Connection disabels if to many entries are copied to the car.
Hello,
any News about our Bluetooth Problem ???
I also have a CD70 from Opel and I cannot understand why my Diamond swich of Bluetooth after a while ?
Is it an Opel-Problem or does anybody now an Application which helps ?
Thanks a lot for Your help,
Stepos
Hi,
I am currently using BTrestore (http://home.casema.nl/rgschmidt/WM/Downloads/BTRestore_V_1_0_0_PPC.ARMV4.CAB). This utility checks the status of the bluetooth stack every 5 secs and (re)enables it everytime it's down. It seems that the 5 secs are short enough to keep the phone connected. It's not a real solution and unfortunately this tool is sometimes instable too, but it absolutely extends the connection time with the UHP.
Maybe bullock can tell us if the carkit upgrade solves anything...??
I also created a ticket at HTC, but they refuse to troubleshoot user specific issues. They told me they only look into issues if they get enough calls from different users and to keep an eye on the update site (they seem to be able to solve issues without knowing what the actual issue is...). So I would encourage everyone here to create a HTC ticket for this issue. I still think it is an HTC issue: a bluetooth stack should never go down without any user intervention.
Good luck!
BTrestart and Jetware Mobile doesn`t help, my Touch diamond disconnect again from Opel CD70 and swiched off Bluetooth !
Can anybody help ?
Sorry guys, the OpelDealer is still "searching" for the Bluetooth upgrade.
After several phonecalls maybe next week (1st week of Febr) it will be made available to the dealer.
Like i said ... i willl keep you informed ... still have this lousy problem !!
..does anybody use the new Rom 2.03 ? Any difference ?
I also asked my Opel-Dealer for an Update of UHP, next week I 'll get new Information....
... well guys I had my CD70 updated !! I am/was very sceptical because the only thing they did was a re-install of the Language of the Navi System with a version 2005 CD. I asked if that was all to correct my Bluetooth problem .... the (smiling) answer was YES.
I have it now for 24hrs ...... and Bluetooth is still on )
I will let you know the result after a week !!
..i can't beleave it works with a 2005-update ! Great !
My Opel-Dealer is still busy in selling 10 Opel Corsa every day (..the magic word is "Abwrackprämie") , so I'll have a date there next week...
When I bought my Vectra the dealer had also to reinstall the Language-CD, maybey it was the wrong version....
...... Sorry guys ......
This update DOES not do the magic trick !! So we have to find another solution
who has the right idea ??
