Okay.
I've got this bluetooth headphone that works okay with my XDA2s, but after using it (and turning off the bluetooth on the XDA) I do not hear the
person calling me (no sound) The person calling me can hear me fine!
No problem. I do not really like using the bluetooth headphone, so I could live with it..
Now I got this bluetooth GPS, and I have the same problem as I am having with the bluetooth headphone.. No sound anymore after using it..
All I can do to get the sound to work is a soft reset!
Is there a fix for this arround (exept WM5)?
XDA2s is using:
ROM version 1.42.00 WWE
ROM Date: 09/05/05
Radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM: 1.40.553 WWE
The Bluetooth is version 1.0.0 Build 3900 (same with all module version)
The ROM I used for the 'flash' is the one from T Mobile
There are NO other 'shortcuts' in the bluetooth manager exept the 'BT GPS: SPP' one.
Any info about appreciated!
Thank you

Hi!
I just upgraded my Asian 1.60.00WWE ROM to
ROM version: 1.72.00WWE
Radio version: 1.14.00
Protocol version: 1337.24
ExtROM version: 1.72.126
thinking that the upgraded ROM can help me solve two (2) major issues but apparently it doesn't
Issue no.1 - With the upgraded ROM I could not print directly using BT to HP 450CBi BT portable printer even with Pocket Bluetooth Tools. I was able to print in this manner with my 1.60.00 WWE ROM and Pocket Bluetooth Tools. The software I use for printing is JetCet Print. Pocket Bluetooth Tools was used as v1.60.00WWE ROM does not have a non-dynamic serial port which the Pocket Bluetooth Tools created enabling me to carry out the BT printing.
From the look of it v1.72.00WWE does not have a non-dynamic serial port. Can anyone confirm? Also, is Pocket Bluetooth Tools written then for addressing v1.60.00WWE ROM non-dynamic serial port? So, how can I perform BT printing now?
Issue no. 2 - I could not receive incoming calls to my iPHONO BT headphones when I'm playing MP3 at the same time when I was havnig the 1.60.00WWE ROM. For some reason the O2 XDA II did not switch to phone answering although I could hear the ringing tone. With no MP3 playing incoming/outgoing calls have no problems. With MP3 playing outgonig calls also have no problem.
The manufacturer claims that v1.72.00WWE solves this problem and thats why I upgraded the ROM.
Anybody can help? Do I need to upgrade my ROM further like the v1.17 radio or otherwise?
Thanks
Has anyone been successful in using the PDA2K and the factory Handsfree system in Accura vehicles? I can get them to pair, and then dial thruogh the car, but then the call switches to the handset. The car system recognizes an incomming call as well, but on pick-up the call again reverts to the handheld unit. I use Cingular USA as my carrier.

I need a handsfree system when driving, disability issue here, any advice would be apprciated. Thanks.
I have the XDAIIs with the PDA2K rom and BT 3900. It connects well with my Acura TL. I can dial out and accept calls through the HFL. The BT 3500 was not able to do that.
This is what I have:
ROM: 1.31.00 WWE (from Arabic PDA2K)
Rom date: 12/31/04
Radio version: 1.06.00
Protocol: 1337.38
Ext ROM: 1.31.1112 WWE

Did this change allow you to see SIGNAL STRENGTH and/or BATTERY LEVEL on the Acura center display and/or the instrument display?
No, the Acura does not show any of it.
A second question - my Motorola HS810 bluetooth headset gets less than the best reception. I'm not sure if it is the headset or the SX66 (<--- my vote is the SX66 now).
I read several post about headsets none of which seemed to be definitive and I am aware that part of the most recent ROM upgrade was to fix some Bluetooth issues.
I have now update the Radio to 1.08.00 and bluetooth BT-PPC/PE V1.0.0 B3900 B Thanks 3waygeek!
I have now tried it and it is much better however, the HS button doesn't answer the phone not to mention handling Voice Command et al. I will be waiting on Radio 1.10 and additional BT patches.
The phone and headset clearly work much better with the upgrades.

I use the Bluetrek G2, and the 1.08 Radio ROM update made a big difference in audio quality. The BT updates (3500 & 3900) didn't make much difference for me.
Having said that, I'd recommend upgrading to the 1.08 radio ROM and the 3900 BT upgrade; IMHO, it won't make things any worse, and may improve things a bit.
Motorola HS850
I recommend Motorola HS850 headset. It has twice the talk time and standby hours as compared to HS810. When you close it boom, it becomes so small and it turns itself off, but when call arives open its boom and you are connected within seconds. This way you can use it for weeks without charging.
Don't upgarade to any ROM or install BT PATCH. I have PDA2K with latest rom from clubimate, I found out no problem with it. I upgraded to Radio 1.08 and guess what? My WIFI does not turn on when bluetooth connection is active or on. I downgraded to Radio 1.06 original PDA2K rom and everything is working fine again.
I recommend not upgrade your ROM unless you have seriours problem.

Hi guys! I have XDA IIs and I have been having problems with my BT (ver 3900). I cant seem to remove the static sound on my headset even if its just 1 feet away (with line-of-sight). My BT headset is Jabra BT200. I have read those threads on BT on the upgrading forum but it seems that no one has a clear answer. Please help.
I don't know what the problems are with your BT headset. I don't think it's PPC related rather a headset related problem. I have a Plantronic M3000 and I have not had any problems some members here have encountered. I am on BT3900 upgraded from 3500. Even at 3500, I haven't encountered any static at any length.
For Pinoy users cal them and ask who is selling them in your area. You might be able to test the unit at the store as well.:

That's a major bug in TomTom3. It takes fully control of BT.
I fixed this problem after upgrading tp BT 3900, but sound is realy, really cracky. I own a BlueTrek G2 headset. Same probs witg Jabra BT200 and BT250.
My version:
Operator: Orange (dutch)
Operator version: 5.31.3.135

ExtROM: 1.31.135 WWE
BT build 3900
Same problem with my Motorolla HS801 headset, it worked perfect with my IMATE POCKETPC Phone but has the same problem as you described with the IMATE PDA2k...
I have another problem where the bluetooth mic drops out when the screen auto shuts off, I can hear them but they can't hear me, even if I resume the PDA (turn screen on) the mic does not start working again, a problem the previous Imate/XDA phone didn't have.....
So far I am finding the PDA2k as buggy as HTCs previous pocketpc phone, I don't think I will buy another HTC phone.... They still can't even get bluetooth working..
