PLease help ...
I have an O2 XDAIIs..I have purchased a Motorola 850 bletooth headset but unfortunatley it does not properly.
When using the bletooth headset i have a clear signal/reception at my end but unfortunately the reciever has major noise crackle / distortion...I have tried to re - pair the BT to my phone a couple of times, in the hope that there may have been some corruptoion issues. Unfortunately this did not help.
Motorola replaced the bletooth 850 headset last week and after pairing it i still have the same propblems as the last one.
I wouold really appreciate some help...
Advance thank you..........
xda2s, blueangel has got poor performace with bluetooth...
not that the motorola hs850 is a poor headset..
i realised its the xda2s problem..
now i am using the same headset with dopod 818 and the quality is near perfect....
ditch the blueangel..
its time anyway
thank u...but help still required...!!!
thank you for your reply...
Yes as you stated and my research showed that the Mot 850 is a quality BT..
I gather the dopod 818 is another phone...but unfortunately i have to fix this problem with the phone as i will have the BlueAngel for another 8months as per contract term..
Thank you once again for your assistance..

Hi guys,
Just found this forum and it looks great. Anyhow, i'm the middle of buying my first ever phone/pda and have decided to go for the TMobile MDA III/xda iii.
I have one major issue that needs answering prior to buying it and hopefully someone here might be able to assist.
I drive a 320d sport touring 2004 model, this has the standard bmw business tape player but also has the Bluetooth Phone option installed by factory, currently it works like a dream with my Nokia 6310i.
So, my questions is, Does anyone know if the mda iii would work in my car.
I have tried many BMW forums including bmwland/e46fans etc etc and no one can give me a answer, i have also checked the X5 forum however its not listed on there list.
I hope someone can assist as its the only thing holding me back on buying the unit.
Thanks to all.
Roger
Well I would say to give it a go, there shouldnt be any reason why it wouldnt work. If it didn't work and you bought it from an o2 shop you always have 14 days return guarantee. I have a BMW 7 series but didnt go for the bluetooth option as I have the wired factory telephone kit fitted but just give it a go.

No waY. The MDA III does not work reliably with BMW bluetooth. I've spend hours patching the darn thing. Sometimes it works, most times it doesnt. Somethings badly screwed up here.
stick the widcomm bluetooth drivers on the phone, I bet ur using the crappy microsoft bluetooth stack!
I had the Xda IIs working in an X5 with the standard BT kit, although it occasionally decides to disconnect. No such luck with the iDrive version of BMWs BT kit, pairs up but doesn't work at all. I can't really recommend it for use with a beamer, maybe after the first ROM update is released!
From previous posts on here I'd say the MDA version of the phone has even worse BT so definitely don't go there!
thanks for the reply guy's.
have decided to go for it anyway as i need somethng like a phone / pda.
Cheers
Anyone care to offer their thoughts. I'm currently using a Nokia HS-4W. But this barely works, Seeming to lose connection to the XDA. Strangely, though, My wife has a similar problem with another 4W when used with a NOK 7610!
Any help - Greatly appreciated!!
I have a o2blue headset from bluetrek, this works fine with my xda2 running wm2003se. You can now by the same model badged as a Bluetrek S3...
Cheers. Might give that a go....
Hi,
after giving up trying to get my Jabra BT250 to work with my XDA IIi I have been recommended to try an o2 'Blue' Bluetooth headset.
Anyone on here got any comments, good or bad, about this headset.
Many thanks
Steve
We're walking down the same path!!
I gave up with my Jabra headset, paired but wouldn't do sound.Bought an o2 Blue. We,ve sold thousands to work with xda2i,I was told.
Can't get sound on calls.Plays wmp music.Opens phone application. No sound
Have done various upgrades on bluetooth, pairing never a problem.
Am going to try new xda2i rom from pug next, unless any good ideas.
Hi i've been using an O2 Blue since I got my XDA IIi about a month and half ago, everything's fine so far, although not sure if it auto answers tho seemed to remember that being a setting on a Plantronics M3000 I've used previously.
Cheers
Andrew
I have 2 Jabra BT250's and both are paired and work fine with my XDA2i, Seems like it might be a problem with the XDA rather then the headsets!!
Hi everyone!
Could you all please tell me which bluetooth earpieces you use without any problems and issues please?!
Looks like my trusty Motorola HS850 isn't so suited to the Orbit (I had posted of the problems in a thread some days ago - but no responses )
I'll go out and buy a headset once I know your responses as to known working models ...
cheers guys!

I am using the Sony ericsson HBH GV435 and it is great with the Orbit and if you look on Amazon.co.uk you will find it at a very cheap price.
*Bump* Bluetooth Earpiece Recommendations Please!!
*just bumping this*
Any other suggestions recommendations please ?!
I deleted and then re-paired my HS 850 Motorola over the weekend, re-tried a call and it's the same as before - I can hear the other person, but my voice isn't transmitted. Annoying!
Cheers for more recommended and working fine headsets!

SonyEricssson HBH-608 works perfect for me.
Hi! I am using the Plantronics Discovery 655 and its really good.
One of the Accessories forum recommendations is the jawbone. New one out there that sounds very very nice!
edit: www.jawbone.com
I'm using the Jabra JX10 which is absolutely superb. Works flawlessly with the orbit.
Hello,
I would Welcome advise on which bluetooth headsets people use with their orbit.
I currently have a Motorola HS850 which although does connect to the orbit, does not transmit any sounds. (except for a beep to say its connected !)
So anyone who has a Orbit running the o2 WM6 and actually has a working bluetooth headset to make calls on I would appreciate knowing about, thanks.
Steeve,
We've tested the QStarz range on the entire current HTC range and O2 range and they all work fine. The BHQ-360 is popular and cheap.

Hope that helps.
