is thier or can some one make a simple app that lets PIE choose best media player.
i did the registry hack for default player and i choose the tcpmp as default but it doesn't work for all the sites.
it would be nice if i could put a little app in the registry the will launch an option that lets me choose which player to play that format.
in the registry, i left it blank and it work fine on some site. it just plays the file format that the player is default to.
for exsample:
if i have tcpmp as default to play asx,asf and divx. i will launch and play it and if i have wmplayer as default for just mp3, than it will launch wmplayer and not tcpmp.
i hope some one understands and has a solution, thank you

Has anyone done any registry hacks to make PocketMusic (or any other player) the default MP3 source on the Orbit? I have just got the W100 remote and do not use Windows Media Player, but it is the default! I want to set the remote to work with PocketMusic.....
Failing this! How do I get Media Player to go straight into my music library when the remote activates the programme?

tcpmp core player allows you to define what extensions to use.

You need this software, the WindowsDecoder.rar, its 2 dll files codecs, wma and wmv, copy both dll file codecs to the Windows folder. To make this real easy, go to my blue-ray screen 3GP video player thread and download the "Total Commander" for smartphone and use this tool to install the 2 dll file codecs to the windows folder. When completed soft reset your device. Next on your TCPMP/Player go the File Association area and check mark ALL the blocks, soft reset your device again, now the TCPMP/Player is the default player on your device. This is my first WinMo Device, as an audiophile I have a lot of my music in FLAC format.
I've had to use CorePlayer to play my music files because the TF3D one doesn't support the codec. My only problem is I find the CorePlayer interface confusing at times (I can control everything, it's just there are often a lot of buttons which I have no idea what they're doing )
Is there any way of modding it so it plays FLAC through the TF3D player (the interface is so nice) I just wish it supported more codecs.

As i am listening a lot of music from phone tho damn could not find way to create my own playlist.The windows mediaplayer is hm not usto it at all.
In my pc i can select files i wana play and open as and select program.
Tho in mobile i cant.And when i search for music i can play those as single songs(cant drag drop songs to media player).
Anyone can inform me alternative program that is free and i can listen music and create my own playlist.(lik selecting song and add to playlist or somthing.)
have you tried mort player yet? this prog can create playlists from folders, shows covers, can be used as an alarm-clock and so on

Yes it works.
Better then windows media player and now i can select single tracks from difrent folders and i don`t have to listen songs that dont like so mutch.
Way easyer to create my own lists and i can save those as well.
