I'd like to buy a Qtek 9090.
I'm a french speaker, but I'm completely lost when the user interface has been translated. English is much more comfortable for me.
To be able to enter french characters, it was obvious to me that I needed the french version. Until I saw the AZERTY keyboard, with its unique accent key.
Does the english version have the 'accent key' too ?
If yes, do you see any reason for me to choose a french version ?
Mine has qwerty , without accent but with pound sign
I bouht it in holland (I'm belgian but hate azerty)
a good reason to buy english version is the value when you sell it in a couple of years. (you can't just flash another language cos the keyboard won't fo;;ow)
what's the key located at the left of the space bar ?
how do you enter characters like é ç à (with your hard keyboard) ?

I have the same problem, qtek 9090 received from work but in french !
I'd like to cook the rom to WWE but the hardware keyboard is the only problem...
For the moment, i didnt find a solution to remap or replace the keyboard. Maybe Qtek could provide it as a spare part...
I am thinking about buying a new phone instead of my old qtek 2020 but would like to know if I will be able to get T9 or something alike to a qtek 9090, and if I will be able to get a danish transcriber?

I have installed a program called TopKey, made by PDAMill (http://www.pdamill.com/prod_tk.shtml)...very useful, and offers nice skins!

at first, great design and you are an top developer.
but i got 3 little problems with the v4.3 of B&B
at first,
i need a german.cab version for xt9. my artemis 110 with tom works (sms/mms-writing with qwertz) not perfect. the dictonary-memory doesnt save my "new words".
the second is the autocorrektor (i dont know the perfect word in english). it takes any word he want, not what i want.
in b&b v4.2 you could choose it self (not automatical)
the third part is the acceptor must choose from the contactlist. in v4.2 it was possible to write it in the acceptor-field the name of the acceptor and multiple acceptor with the same letters were chooseable.
can you or anybody help me?

I come from Touch Diamond one, Got a HD recently and what i mis the most
is the small keypad on former device. My question is this.
Has someone concidered coding a small keypad app for the lower region of the screen, say for playing games with !? This could very well enable people to play games like pacman and the like. I am asking this becouse there would be no reason for me to invent the wheel a seccond time if such a thing already existed. Anyway lets hear it guys....
