Is there another way of donating money other than by PayPal?

re: Donations via Paypal
hey,
i'd like to make a donation and i did read through the pages of how to do it. unfortunately; you use paypal which is not available here in thailand. i've tried quite a number of times to register using several credit cards but the bottomline is paypal does not have any affiliate yet here. i even wrote to the paypal customer service and they verified it themselves that there is no existing service yet set up for thailand. any other way to make a donation online?
cheers mates

I have been posting similar message a month ago or so ... seems like Admin working on it to allow other users to make donations easy way - my country has also been on the list of "not covered" by mr. PAYPAL :?

I am indeed looking for a comparably easy way to accept payments from more countries. I'm sort of stuck, finding mostly services that require me to send physical products for fixed prices or being very expensive and geared towards software sales complete with marketing support etc. If anyone has a good idea, I'm all ears...
have you tried www.2checkout.com ? they are pretty flexible.

May be to show to PayPal personel how many interest there is from othe countries?
Looking forward to make my first donation. I am from Croatia - not supported by PayPal.
Hi,
I am from Saudi Arabia and I second the requests of other users. I would like to donate but Paypal does not list my country as a supported country.
well i guess i can join the circle here in UAE but i guess am stuck too, but peter why don't you give away simple 1 $ products to be shipped & we will willingly buying it for say 15$ where 1 $ is the coast & 4 $ is shipment & the rest would be for xda developers, make it a button clip (i think they call them pin buttons) with XDA developers printed on it  sounds stupid but maybe worth trying
There are many forum members who have promised to donate for Universal Unlocker tool.
It also makes sense as amount charged by Service Providers is atleast £15 & in some coutries even more. Also the imei-check.co.uk charging £50.
Please mention your donations below that you are willing to donate for Universal Unlocker.
like I will donate atleast £15 or 20 Euros.
The thing is;
Im moving on to a Xperia Arc S
But the one im receiving is Networked locked to 02
So i contacted Jinx on Xda who does the Remote Unlocking for 15GBP
And the only two ways of payment aree Paypal and Moneybookers
So i was wondering
Is there any Indian XDA member here who could transfer the funds to Jinx ?
I shall send you the required amount in India rupees (A little extra due to the Paypal charges) via Post or DD.
Anyone up for it ?
Please ?
I tried making a paypal for me but i require a PAN card which i dont possess as im 17 :/
Right now 1GBP is Rupees
And i need to send a total of 15GBP which translates to Rs1200/-
So ill pay for the post charges and Ill send a total of Rs 1400/-
So a total of Rs 1400/- is to be sent via paypal and far as i know paypal charges for sending hence the extra cash here
Let me know
And Moderator i know this is in the wrong section so please do excuse me
Beware Of T-Mobile Refill Scams that are payed thru PayPal.
Ordered refill paid thru PayPal, Never received, nor was my phone number credited.
Tried to correspond with the seller, No response.
Filled a dispute with PayPal. PayPals answer, they will not do any thing.
So to summarize
1 Set-up Pay Pal account
2 Offer T-Mobile refill card.
3 Collect customers money thru PayPal.
4 Send E-mail saying refill card shipped.
5 Ignore any correspondence from customer
6 100% PROFIT Customer SHI- OUT OF LUCK have a nice day, thank you
I've bought several refill cards through eBay and have never had an issue. Always check there recent ratings.

Sometime it's less stress if you just buy it at regular price at local retailers.

I am no fan of PayPal and eBay in general - but am surprised PayPal is just blowing you off - sounds like some info missing here. Are you sure you paid through PayPal (it shows up in you account) and not a phony look-a-like?
I always pay from my AX account when paying with PayPal - they are about 500% better at covering its customers then PayPal by themselves.
Why not just call the 611 or whatever and pay with a card. If you can't/don't have a bank account get a prepaid credit card at a gas station or wal-mart.
I've bought a few off eBay with no problem as well...

If it was a legitimate PayPal transaction you're protected. It'll take 4 to6 weeks to get your money back via PayPal, not the seller.
I won't even take PayPal as a form of payment as its just to easy to do charge backs with them. Credit card charge backs will be declined but PayPal will refund in most cases.
It's just to easy to get scammed by paypal, as the receiver ........
