Hi, I've a problem with my qtek 8020 with 2.2.32.23 rom.
My smartphone doesn't recognize bluetooth car handsfree (metablue) automatically, after a pairing and a connection (that run perfectly) when I turn off the handsfree or the 8020, and put on, the connection doesn't start automatically, and I must cancel the connection and re-pairing again.
The handsfree runs perfectly with a symbian phone, therefore it's probably a bluetooth stack problem of my 8020.
Please, has anybody a solution?
Thanks all.

Ok this might sound a bit dumb to you guys but I'm having a little situation here.
I got tomtom 5.1 and just got the glabalsat bt338 receiver.
I have paired the device with my xda as I have paired a nokia BT headset.
When I switch on the nokia headset and bluetooth, the pda and headset establish a connection automatically.
I would like to do the same for the bt338. As soon as the bluetooth is on, it should establish a connection.
I am not able to do this. I have to click on the bluetooth manager, double click the bt338 for it to establish the connection. Then I have to exit bt manager and turn on tom tom. Still tomtom does not detect the GPS receiver until I click on the GPS device settings and select OTHER BT RECEIVER and then select Blutooth receiver on COM5.
Only then does the GPS show any life.
I would like to know how to get the BT338 to work by just turning on TOMTOM.
It should authenticate and establish the connection on its own, and by the time its up, i should be able to input a destination.
Confusing? No?
easy there mate, give it time....once you have the BT338 paired with your handset, switch everything off.
then 1st switch on your BT338, then switch on your PDA...start up TomTom and leave it for at least 1 minute...it should switch on Bluetooth automatically and connect to the BT338, i had this issue and the 5.1 update solved it...let us know if successful.
Hi,
After I install tomtom6 I'm not able to connect to my Bt headset?
Anyone had this same problem and solve it?
Regards
Kruz

Don't you mean: Connect GPS via other cable in your TT6 config, instead of the BT Headset??
I have exactly the same problem here. (HTC Blue Angel with BlueTooth for Windows CE BT-PPC/PE Version 1.0.0 Build 3900)
When TT6 is installed, I can pair with my Jabra BT135 and create a shortcut, but I can't connect to it by using the shortcut.
After removing TT6 from the Blue Angel, I can connect to the Jabra using the same shortcut immediately.
So think with me here, why is this happening?
Could it be the case that the HTC Blue Angel is only capable of having 1 BlueTooth device/COM-port/connection/channel,
and that TT6 is somehow claiming a BlueTooth channel for a wireless GPS BT receiver that it could try to connect to and so the Jabra won't connect to it anymore?
Or is the HTC Blue Angel capable of connecting with more than one BT-device at a time, but are the headset and TT6 using the same COM-port for BT communications or something? In the second case, how can I change the port used by either the Jabra of TT6 ?!?
Does anybody have an answer to this?
have just resolved an issue others may have with TT6 installation affecting Bluetooth earpiece functionality.
Actually, I found the answer on the net after literally days of searching!.
If you have installed TT6, it will overwrite at least one bluetooth dll file. This can prevent other BT devices functioning after TT6 install. On my XDA 2s, I was able to pair my bluetrek G2 headset, but not connect. The answer is to re-name the "BtCoreIf.dll" file in the PDA wndows file to ""BtCoreIfold.dll".
Immediately, I had my BT earpiece functinality back, AND TTN 6 works too! Don't ask me how, it just worked for me
qtek9090
On my BlueAngel is the same with TT6 vs. Motorola Headset H300.
I've tried to rename BtCoreIf.dll but system don't let me to delete the original file I thing because it is in ROM.
I simple do a workaround: open bt service and connect the headset manually

Then you don't have the problem as descibed in this topic at all. Because when TT6 is installed, it is impossible to connect to the BT headset (manually).
So I guess you are lucky.

I think so: when headset is connected, TT6 do not connect automatically the Gps receiver, I must to doubleclick on Gps icon.
And vice versa.
I recently installed the HTC WM6 ROM and was pleased with its speed etc. however the bluetoth has changed in some way and I was unable to use my Mototola handsfree car kit. I then tried the B&B 3.7 and had the same problem.
Is there a workaround i.e. have the wm6 rom with the old bluetooth ?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Some car-kits show as a headset, some as a hands free. The WM6 blutooth only seems to recognise Hands Free. My car kit does both, On Nokia it shows both, on WM6 only Hands Free.
Does anyone have a Headset Stack?
WM6 and car kit!
I have the same problem! If i activate the hansfree e deactivate it works! Is a motorola a like carkit! Can sameone help me? Tks
I have the cheapo aldi BT car cd radio. If I turn the radio on then the BT on my phone the radio mutes. But if I do it the other way round, ie BT on then turn radio on, it worls fine

I have a bluetrek S2 headset, Since I flashed my MDAC III to WM6(B&B) I'm having problems keeping the headset and my device paired. I flashed WM6.1(B&B5.0) to the device but the problem still exist. I can pair them to each oter, and everything works fine. When I turn of the headset( to recharge or to save battery) The connection is lost the next time I turn it back on, I do have to pair them again. First I tough it was my headsets problem, but then I tried to pair a BT GPS mouse, the same result. I have the same problem pairing this GPS with other devices(TyTN, iMate Jamin) running WM6. Does anyone know how to fix this bluetooth problem I'm having?
There might be a connection here (no pun intended). For quite sometime, I was using an old SE637 phone and had it working flawlessly with my Garmin c550 GPS.
During an hour and a half trip yesterday, the Garmin notified me 3 times that the bluetooth connection with the Tilt was lost (the SE profile had already been removed from the Garmin). I never saw this message before with the SE. FWIW, the 2 devices are no more than 2 or 3 feet apart at all times, and neither of them are physically touched during the trip. I'm concerned that this might be an HTC problem. Any thoughts?

No one with an possible solution, or at least with the same problem??
Same problem here
I have just received a new HTC TyTN II on Orange that has the same problem. My old one (windows mobile 6.0) had no problem with my Motorola H12, but the new one (Windows Mobile 6.1) can't keep the pairing, and I have to turn Bluetooth on an off to get the connection. Always have to enter the passcode.
Version data is:
CE OS 5.2.19212 (Build 19212.1.0.3)
Processor: MSM7200-400MHz
ROM version 1.65.16.25
G 25.83.40.02H
D 3.28.00.00
Any help /advice much appreciated!
O.
Fixed itself...
This seems now to have fixed itself - I had to enter the password twice in a row for some reason and then it worked properly. So now all happy...
Windows Mobile 6.1 rocks...
Running into the next problems when playing MP3 through my PC's speakers through A2DP with my stock Eclair ROM 2.51.1.MB525.Retail.en.GB:
PC Win7 X64, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR stick Belkin F8T012, Widcomm Stack 6.3.0.7900.
Paired the Defy with my PC. The Defy shows as MB525 in "Devices and Printers" when I double-click on the icon, the properties appear. From here, I can initiate the "Music and Audio" connection. The Defy's music now plays through my PC's speakers, and I can control the Defy through my PC (pause, back/forward etc.) with a little window that appears above my system tray. So far so good: splendid audio! Now when I end the connection from my PC in the MB525 property page, the Defy starts playing through it's own speaker again, as it should. Perfect. Now I am able to successfully reconnect in the same way once more, but when I disconnect again, the Defy thinks it is still connected and stays silent. After a while the Defy then reboots (no "M" screen, but showing "android"). Then, I can connect for two more times before this starts over.
Is anybody else experiencing this behaviour?
What I think is also strange: I cannot initiate the A2DP connection from my Defy, have to start that from my PC. With my WinMobile phone the A2DP setup was working as it should, no phone reboots and able to initiate from the phone. I tried with older Widcomm stacks, but the same things happened.
Now I tried the same thing with Bluesoleil 8.0.338.0 which I bought as well. No errors, connection initiates from the phone, BUT: no audio could be heard from my PC's speakers during the connection. I selected the correct sound output option, my PC's sound card. In other words: works perfect but no sound.
With both bluetooth stacks, everything else works ok: FTP, Headset profile (can hear audio through my PC speakers now)....
Can someone help me stopping the android reboots with the Widcomm stack, or tell me how to get A2DP going with Bluesoleil?
Apart from this issue, the Defy is a great phone I think!
EDIT:
Tested the Bluesoleil with ISSC and CSR chipped BT dongles on X64 and X86 as well, everything but A2DP seems to work. Connection between the Defy and Bluetooth stick seems to be OK, but no sound is heard.... Cannot test the other sticks with Widcomm, since this stack is dedicated to Broadcom chipsets nowadays...
After struggling with this for four days, I have been able to solve the problems. I tested with Toshiba bluetooth stack and uninstalled this as well because it did not solve the A2DP problem. Then I uninstalled two devices that were present in the Win 7 "devices and printers" folder, a bluetooth GPS and another PC. After this I reinstalled Widcomm 6.3.0.7900. After pairing I am able to use all of the Bluetooth features of my Defy, including A2DP, FTP and Remote control!! I can even initiate the A2DP connection from the Defy like I used to do with my Windows Mobile phone. Thanks for studying this thread anyway!
