I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the AKU2 ROM with A2DP bluetooth stereo headphone support. The first to post it would receive my undying admiration.
Didn't imate say they would be releasing their new rom with AKU2 on 6th January? I'm sure I read that somewhere... :?:

Sorry, but I'm getting a bit lost reading all the posts on WM5 on BA and was wondering if somebody could verify the latest/greatest rom available at the moment?
I'm under the impression that one of the roms has AKU2 in it, but is this for the BA or the Himalaya? I just got an XDAIIs.

Ok guys it is nice to know the rotten guys at Imate decided or at perhaps we snitched the new imate jasjar rom from them. What about the guys from Qtek are they having coffee and drinking tea all day that they are delaying the release of their new rom for the qtek 9000????????????? Does anyone know the release date!!

I'm a QTEK 9000 user and I'm also eagerly awaiting the new ROM release.
I believe QTEK will release a well-tested and stable ROM like the original shipped ROM I'm having now...hope that it'll have A2DP included besides pushmail

The new ROM for the XDA Exec is currently being tested at the moment, the main applications in the test ROM are direct push email and a2dp which is a stereo Bluetooth headset profile. Unfortunately we have no timescales when this will be released and are unaware of exactly what is in the final release.

A thought just crossed my mind: Why don't you email them and ask if you could Beta Test for them? You can make the excuse that it could speed up the process and help them to help their customers, blah, blah, blah....
If they say yes, then upload. I'm desperate to see if o2 haven't made the same mistakes as i-mate. I'm also waiting on Orange (althought their ROM will suck - it also comes out mid-march) and Qtek (usually most stable but take years to release!)

I think they are still trying to unlock the RUU to enable it to flash with a O2 Atom rom. I did read somewhere that HP was planning to release a official WM6 rom for this unit BUT may just be a lead on...
HP has emailed me and said they are not going to release WM6 for the 6828 as the hardware is not suitable
anyway the WM6 is not smarter than WM5 only a little bit nice. I saw the presentation on microsoft website and....nothing special. the missed calls in today screen...and other small things...
id still like WM6 for the 6826 but from what i have been reading here, just looks like it wont happen. if it does happen, can someone PM me?
im sure WM6 would have fixed some minor issues i am having with my current 6826. plus the new look would be nice
this device is a clone of ATOM XDA...in ATOM forum you may ask a request to help you. I think Someone is willing to do ROM for this if you will support him...

I am not sure if there is a forum to post a Blue Angel that's for sale - I flashed it to WM6 - it works great, but I give up on the bluetooth stereo headphones.
