Searching for T-Mobile MDA Pro Original Rom - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

Does anyone know where I can find the WWE T-Mobile ROM for the MDA Pro?
I want to go back to the supplied rom but it looks like my backup didn't work properly
I can't see anywhere to download it from t-mobile's website and it's not on the xda-dev ftp site either

http://www.iris-global.com/t_mobile_download/download_manager_mda_pro.html
it's very good website

Thanks for that!

Hi! do you know where to get a german version? I would need it, because my universal does not work the way it should, and the warranty guys won't repair it without the original rom!

Dumping S620 rom, downgrade ?

Hello,
I really want to upgrate to WM6 as soon as possible. My phone operator offer me some services (emails, web, messenger) only if I use the prvided settings and applications.
If I upgrade to WM6 and things don't work, is going back to factory state as simple to flashing HTC WM5 + EXT ROM ?
Jean
I was wondering the same thing: I would like to upgrade to WM6, but not without having a backup of the WM5 rom supplied by the Wireless Network Operator.
I searched the forum on how to backup the rom, but was unable to find any usable information. Anybody would like to help us out?
you can't back it up in that way.
just download one of the wm5 roms posted here.
1. The original WM5 ROM for the s620 is available. It's out there online if you do a little searching. It used to be hosted here. I ran it on my Dash for months before going to WM6.
2. HTC is going to be releasing the WM6 update soon. This will be a MUCH better firmware than T-Mobile's. Also, if you wait for it, you won't have to worry about unlocking or anything.
-Mc
p.s. Smartphones don't have an Extended ROM.
alright thanks guys, I'll just wait till the official HTC release, I also found the wm5 roms, so I should be all set.
I was able to find an unbranded rom (not sure if it the latest... which is the latest French version ?) but if smart phones doesn't contain ext rom, where are the customizations ?
My french phone operator is Ten Mobile. I think it will be tricky to find that particular rom.
wm5 rom...
Can someone email me a link or email me the original wm5 rom for the htc s620 and not the t-mobile dash version?
TIA
s620 wm6 rom
I really need instructions link and download link of the WM6 ROM for Htc S620.
Can Anyone help me on that? I will apreciate it a lot.
Thanks

Restore to Stock SPL from T-Mobile

Hi Guys!
First @ all. Thank you for this great Community, this great tutorials and all this help and stuff you can find here. It is realy great
But now ... I got a little prob here. I want to restore my MDA Compact IV from T-Mobile with it original Rom and SPL. I can find the ROM but the SPL is missing and I need it for warranty reasons. Does anybody has this SPL and can send or upload it for me? It is for the german version of my lovely Diamond. If it's another language I wouldn't really care about it. The most important thing is that this ugly T-Mobile Logo is back again
Thank you for your help.
I will take a look on this fred tomorrow morning after a looooong sleep

Use the search function.. There's a good site called "modmydiamond.." They have the answer there. I've pasted the page below:
http://modmydiamond.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=27
I used that function. The problem is that this guide offers me only the htc spls. Not that from T-Mobile
Somewhere on this forum you can download the official tmobile ROM for the UK. That one contains a Tmobile SPL. It is a UK version, but they might be the same....

[ROM][GER][Oct.08]T-Mobile MDA Compact IV 1.93.111.2[ONLINE] HTC Victor - Stock

HTC Victor/Diamond - Stock - German - 1.93.111.2 - ROM - here at official T-mobile Germany www.
http://www.t-mobile.de/fremdcontent/1,2790,123416,00.html
I can not say you what is new in that ROM, because it is in German and I'm waiting in English But may be somebody will be interesting with it.
Enjoy!
PS: Sorry, It's my 1st thread, if I made something wrong please let me know.
Anyone know when this is likely to be available for UK customers?
T-Mobile are so unfair as it looks like the whole of Europe has it except for the UK!!
Its available on the Czech T-Mobile site and now Germany!!
Come on T-Mob UK, Bring the UK MDAs up to date as well....

Be polite
Joking. Today I sent e-mail to T-Mobile UK with question when will be available new T-Mobile MDA Compact IV ROM, preferable 1.93 or higher. When I'll receive an answer, it will be posted here.
PS: either T-Mobile MDA Compact IV doesn't presented AS A MODEL! in software download section at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/phone-support/software-updates/
Its ridiculous how the UK customer base gets treated
We are always last to get these sorts of updates. The really annoying thing is that with the Stock ROM the phone is almost unusable!
Its so slow and the battery drains so quickly. Hence people have to resort to non-recommended ROMS to get over the issues.
I would much rather have the official ROM on my phone.... But a prerequisite to that would be that its a decent/working version of the ROM!
COME ON T-MOBILE UK, do the right thing for ONCE!!!

Today, I got an answer from T-Mobile UK
Unbelievable
"Thanks for your email Alex, asking me when the version 1.93 or higher on MDA Compact IV will be available with us along with the new software for PDA and the manual.
I'd like to tell you that as of now we have version 1.37 for compact IV and we haven't released 1.93 version with us. Also I wouldn't be able to let you know when this version will be available."
Sorry to raise an old thread, but this reply from T-Mobile is rubbish. I had my Diamond in for repair (overheating, they just replaced the battery - still doing it ) and they upgraded the ROM to 1.93.110.3 and Radio 1.00.25.16.
That was on the 6th November!!!
Keep pushing them! Esp. as I'd like a copy of this so I can flash something else, but still have the original in case of (more) warranty work.

martins40, do you have HTC Diamond or T-Mobile MDA Compact IV? Was it in UK?
T-Mobile Compact IV. Standard UK stock from my local T-Mobile store.
Since the new firmware sucks for me, I wanted to ask how to restore the old version 1.37. I want to do a restore to the original T-Mobile firmware without some hacked SPL etc.
So what do I need and where do I get it?
Original German 1.37.111.3
Updater
Anything else?

First:
I meant the above mentioned new 1.93.111.2, which has an autostarting ActiveSync, uses more battery on my device and has the Opera landscape mode bug. So there is no reason for me to stick to the new one.
Second:
Thanks very much! That is really really the original, not hacked, warranty-friendly ROM?

Default T-Mobile Germany Rom

Hello Guys!
Since my Vario IV is with its original ROM not as fast as it could be, I want to install another ROM.
But before I do that, I need the original T-Mobile Germany rom, so that I can install this again, if I have to send the phone back for some warranty-causes, or if I don't like the new modded Rom.
So, is the original one released yet or is there any way, how I can extract and maybe release it?
The other thing is that I don't really know which rom I should install then, since I'm quite new in the xda-business. There are so many roms out there. I'm basically looking for a factory HTC-rom, that hasn't installed much stuff from the start. It should just be faster and has the original htc manila interface, not the ugly T-Mobile one.
edit: And the new rom should be German.
I hope you guys can help me!
Thanks!

Ahhh, thank you very much!
I wasn't able to find this download on the T-Mobile site on my own.
For further official T-Mobile downloads, can you tell me how I can get to this site, without having the link?
I found it.....
Problem is, I need the stock rom for the mda VARIO IV.
Do you have a link for this, too?
-I know, the thread is posted in the wrong section-
It's seems that VARIO ROm is not presented at t-mobile.de yet.
you may check here (I don't know German) http://www.t-mobile.de/shop/handy/0,4855,2963-_10093-0-1-4,00.html
May be you'll find something helpfull. Or you can write to service support t-mobile and ask about ROM.
Wrong forum, this one is for the HTC Diamond, what you have is the HTC Raphael. You may have a look there.
thank you guys!
you also need original Boot-Loader from T-Mobile !!!

PLZ CLOSE [Rom Request] T-Mobile Dutch 6 Original (Non-cooked)

Can't find it anywhere, neither on XDA as the internet.
If someone has, or know who has the original please dump the rom for me.

Assangflexx
for what i know the WM6.1 official t-mobile rom in dutch doesn't exist. only the WM6 exists!
@kaas90
Thnx, didn't know.
Only knew that my uncle flashed an cooked instable rom. Now he wants the original back and he didn't backup the old rom.
P.S. Changed the topic title into wm 6
Strange, there used to be a download for the MDA Compact III WM6 ROM at the T-Mobile site and it linked to this page:
http://member.htc.com/ruudownload/t-mobile/TMobileWM6Step1-TMNL.aspx
But it seems this has expired.
Anyway I still have the file on my computer and it's called:
Hero_WM6_TMNL_3.15.114.2.zip
Inside there is a file called:
RUU_Artemis_TMO_NL_3.15.114.2_4.1.13.50_03.06.90_Ship.exe
which is the one you need.
