Hi guys, I wonder if you can help?
I have a Touch HD and I installed HD Tweek, this has a setting on it to auto disconect the data after a preset amount of time so I can schedual my gmail to send and recieve every hour and the data connection will connect check and disconect automatically saving my battery
But I have searched and search for something to do the same on my other halfs X1 but can't?
I have "Xperia Tweak 2" and "Advanced Config" but neither give me this ability? Advanced Config has the setting "Disconect button in bubble with timer" I have selected this but it still won't disconect automatically? Their is also no setting that I can find to set the time (Timer) to disconect and their is no disconect button in the info bubble at the top of the screen?
Am I doing something wrong or can anyone recomend some software to do this??
Thank you
Chris....

Have a look to Advanced Config in Menu > More parameters > Connexions. I will find there the desired configuration

I am not even sure what it is it that you want. You want to start S2U2 when you slide out of the lock?
I think he's trying to use a key to launch the s2u2 lock.
Try AE buttons plus (google is your friend) and use it to launch s2u2. It should be in the list as it exists in your start menu as a shortcut.
Good luck and don't be afraid to call for help in case of problems.
Hi,
Here joined a very small utility to setup a SoftKey (Right and Left). I use it for long years...
Unzip
Put via ActivSync on your windows directory phone
Soft Reset
and go to Parameters system tab, I should see the applet...

I wonder if it is possible to disable the automatic start of S2U2 after every soft reset?

delete iLock in your start-up using a registry program.
Then I can't close S2U2. I want it not to start!
You can set the boot-up delay in the advanced settings (if that's what you mean. By default it's 5 sec. but you can increase it to even 60 sec.
Thanks for the answer, but I just don't want S2U2 to start automatic after every soft reset. Every night I back-up my Omnia with SPB back-up so every morning my phone is locked with S2U2 due to the soft reset. I don't like that.

It is very simple and someone already told you the solution Using a file explorer, go to \windows\startup and delete ilock.exe. So s2u2 won't run automatically after soft reset. You can start and stop ilock from the programs in start menu.

Zalares, thank you very much!! What I did wrong the first time was that I deleted ilock.exe from \windows\startmenu... and that's not going to work.

Is it possible to stop the soft keyboard to popup by default? If I read an SMS in portrait the soft keyboard will show and take up half the screen, but if I would reply I would flip out the hard keyboard and type on that.
Still it's good to have the option to type with the soft keyboard, so I dont want to remove it completely, only stop it from showing by default.

The advanced configuration tool has a setting for this. I can't say if it works, I've never tried to shut mine off.

Hi,
I have a Tilt 2 with stock ROM. The only two enhancements I use is "S2U2" and "Advanced Configuration Tool" ! I changed someting and now have a little problem :
When I get an incoming call and the caller id with the pic pops up, I can't pickup the call, using the green on-sceen button. This button does NOT pickup the phone call. I have to use the green hardware button to pickup the incoming call. However, I can use the RED on-screen button to end the call.
I soft reset the phone a few times and tried some settings with the "S2U2 and Advanced Config. Tool", but I can't get it to work.
Any ideas ?
I'd appreciate any help and suggestions.
Thanks,
JCE

Haha, it takes time to understand all the jargon and such that takes place around here. Just do some reading and searching, don't be afraid to ask questions if you can't find a thread explaining it. Eventually I would suggest flashing to a good rom like one of the Energy Rom's or a Cell Rom. The two best Rom Cooks on the Rhodium (Touch Pro 2/Tilt 2) side of xda.
I say the same thing as doublen1, use a non-stock ROM because these come with features already installed and you will be able to use S2U2 and all that stuff. and about the actual issue, I have had problems picking up calls with the screen, so I just started using the hardware keys.
Make sure you didn't mess around with any of the touch screen settings in Adv. Configr or BSB tweaks or something like that. This usually causes the problem with the dialer.
Hi AllTheWay,
well, I don't remember changing anything in the "Advanced Config. Tools" which would cause the touch screen settings to be different. However, I might have done or changed something...... Is there a way to get the "Touch Screen" settings to a default level without hard resetting the device ?
Thank you.

Not that I know of off the top of my head. There might be a setting inside of Adv Config that would allow you to restore to default. Also the S2U2 has a setting to take control as the dialer screen when somebody calls. You can try messing around with the settings in S2U2 as well.
PM me if you don't find an answer soon.
How to disable air command?
I did intensive google research, nobody seems to be able to disable air command, except using paid system app disabler.
It also occurs on every samsung devices with stylus running android 8.1 and after.
Is there any solutions or we just have to deal with accidentally pressing the button when using the stylus, and forgetting the option of stylus button commands on other apps?
Even the hold button to erase in Samsung's own Note app seems to be random for me, sometimes it works, sometimes it just open the goddamn air command.

Sorry for the late reply,
Have you tried it for air command? Does the apk conflicts with other apps? Will the device still recognize the button?
I use the device for my work so i can't risk resetting it and have to do a full backup-restore cycle.
Thanks

No, I haven't tried uninstalling (the right term is disabling) air command ! I never needed a such this (perhaps third-party applications depend from this app)
This way - mode disables applications for the user....After any device Reset, all disabled applications reappear ...
IDK your job and I can't put your job in risk

So you mean is : the adb command just disables the service from running, so it will turn back on after reset (power off-power on) and not factory reset, right ?
EDIT: So i just did it, succesfully.
For samsung's notes app, button still works as eraser, and no air command!
For Infinite Painter, button recognized as "Front stylus button" and can be used without hassle.
EDIT2: S-pen settings are completely gone, but i had all the settings that allows you functions such as hover to scroll, hover to give more info abt buttons (one you can hover over a button and it shows the button's name), hover to enlarge images in gallery app, hover textbox to handwrite in it. Idk if any of you who disabled these settings then disabled the app would result the same.
And all the air command-accessible only options are gone such as translate, bixby vision, glance, screenwrite etc. As expected.
MANY THANKS

ok nice....
No, it's not right !
Remember: the disabled applications will reappear only after "Factory Reset" (no power on-off)
*_From stock recovery or through the central settings > About tablet > Reset ....
I uninstalled it via:
Code:
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.service.aircommand
I can confirm, that all the S-Pen Settings are gone, but other than that the Pen works fine (I hope )
At least I can use the button now in LectureNotes without having the stupid menu pop up all the time.
Edit: Okay there is one thing you should know! Before uninstalling the aircommand service, you MUST configure the pen how you would like it. For example the hovering. If you forget to disable it before removing the service, you can not configure it using the UI but need to do this using the settings command.
For example:
Code:
adb shell settings put system pen_hovering_pointer 0
to disable the hovering pointer
