Am an orange m5000 owneer. Paid orange 20 quid sigh. Unlocked now only took 3 days which was fast.
Running o2 Corp Mode. Just wondered if anyone can post or pm a link to mayde a qtek rom with o2 ext rom or somet .
Must be somet better then o2 corp. How about post of people home brew roms ?

I have a o2 xda exec. I read the forum and some people found problems on upgrading their roms to dopod chinese rom. I haven't tried the steps yet and I just wonder is the process reversible and is it easy to do? I read that someone could not even start the xda. Thx

I don't know why and don't understand why someone can't flush Rom , it work for my O2 Exec and Dopod 900 , if you worry to do this , I will say wait next O2 come with New ROM , if you can't start the Exec than you can flush back O2 rom or return to O2 just say to rom you upgrade new rom get the problem.

Just re formated my pc and stupid me i didn't do back up for it

Official ROM, you can go to your provider website.
Cooked ROM, only Jwrightmcps release SPV M5000, but only WM6.
Anyway, it does not matter, after flashing, just change the splash screen to SPV M5000 and it looks like SPV M5000 ROM.

I tried talking to orange but i was given the runaround and no answers

There is no official WM6 rom from Orange yet for the m3100. the link posted by member "yaky" is the latest rom, but still only WM5.
