Why no forum about Eten X500?

Why is there now forum for the Eten X500 here?

Historically, HTC suxs on their tech support (probably they are still), hence the almighty gather together to support their devices themselves. Hence, xda still kept its tradition of keeping to HTC devices. And how Atom (non-HTC) came into here, is rather mysterious though

Atom was a mistake and by the time we had worked that out it had content so we left it.

With All due respect to eten-users.net forum which I'm a member, I second the suggestion to have a forum for the Eten X500. XDA-Develpers is one of the most viewed forums which I started reading in since I have my PDA2k. Moreover, I think have a section ofr the ETEN will sure benifit for the exprecience that mambers of this forum have.

I can see you having a bigger problem:
Starting with the "Flame" (I think, maybe others) there are going to be more and more non HTC manufactured, but XDA branded phones.
Given the name of the site what do you think should be done?

That would certainly keep noobs and annoyances out for a while, maybe even let us get the ROMs back (until M$ realizes were better than them again)

BTW, I got my unlocking lead and upgraded my p900. But for some reason, it doesn't have the iPhone scrolling thing. Anyone know Y dat iz?

Selling Tytn with WM 6.0 on it

Hello there all, I was looking for a little advise. I am planning on selling my tytn on ebay and Iam running one of the copies of wm 6 on it. Sholud I start over with ver 5.0 or just sell it the way it is. I just don't want anyone here getting into any trouble over it. Thanks for the advice.

I have seen these sold on ebay before with WM6 preloaded but they didnt mention who made the wm6 just that it came with it preflashed, I am sure you dont have any problems if anything it will actualley be worth more to people that dont know any better to get it themselves.

My suggestion would be to make it clear in the auction that it comes with WM6 pre-loaded, but that you can convert it back to WM5 before posting if the winning buyer requests it. That way, best of both worlds!
Besides, you know of ANYONE interested in Windows / WM who wanted a LOWER version number once a higher one was available?!? We'd buy a Fiesta over a Ferrari as long as it was badged as an Enzo v2.0....

I have seen some auctions get removed for selling phones like the hermes with wm6 on it since it technically hasnt been officially released yet..

I have also seen some that have went for a pretty penny with wm6 on it and thought about selling mine just because of it LOL

^^^^ I agree about this.
I friend of mine just bought as 8525 which WAS advertised as having WM6. He bought it for about $500 cad. shipped.
When he got it, I told him how to look into the WM6 version. It had Black 2.5 on it.

HTC S630 and Dopod C730 are the HTC Cavalier. It has arrived in Europe since July 2007.

I am using similar model with calvelier. in japan this model's name is X02HT.

yes the cavalier deserves it .. i wish i had the know how of the guys in here so i can start doing wonders with this fast device

In the Netherlands the cavelier is'nt available
If it isnt comiing i'm considering the Motorola Q9H

I live in the Netherlands I use the Cavelier for a couple of months now. I ordered it from the states. I even called HTC europe but they said it does not become available in the comming months

Sprint Palm 755p Unlockable? WM6 available?

Is it possible to get WM6 on my Sprint 755p? Anyone?? I can't seem to find answers ..

That's a Palm OS device. Not sure if WM6 is possible, but would be an interesting experiment.

Yea, I know its Palm OS .. thats why I want WM6 I hate Palm OS ....
Anyways, the concern I have is compatibility with the phone - though I'm sure that will work.
The second and more serious concern I have is once I get WM6 on there, will it work on Sprint...
