Was anyone of you able to unlock this Hp devide?
I have it locked to Cingular (US).
Do you think that the unlock for the XDA should work?
i found a guy that unlocks for 40$ ... pretty expensise.
Anyone should have right to unlock his own phone without having to pay!

O2 refused ot unlock for me. They said I need tot ransfer my number to them for £25.00 !!!

There are 2 files being offered in the linked thread, one is for unlocking xda 2. the other is for unlocking extended rom on xda2s, as far as I can see these files are useless for unlocking the to other service providers.

i unlocked my friend's 6315...
did it by calling customer service, since i'm a t-mobile user. was pretty easy... i dont know of any other way

I bought my ipaq unlocked from ebay. the only known way to unlocK it is tobe a t_mobile subscriber and to osK them for the unlocking code. Ireceived my phone unlocked from the ebay seller and he also sent the unlock code. the Phone work with Singular sim card and with my vodafone Egypt Sim .

Typing the word "unlock" in the search bar for the Artemis Board gives me 58 Threads...At the moment there is NO FREE Unlocking solution, you will have to pay your provider, pay Imei-Check or just wait... Imei-Check also gives your Device Super CID if i'm not wront, which allows you to flash any fitting ROM.

Hello from Mexico, as title says I have a little problem, few days ago I bought a HP Ipaq 610c from an internet Store, they said the phone was unlocked but when I finally get it in my hands I notice that it is brand locked by Movistar. Is there a way to unlock this phone for free? Or do I need to pay for that? Thanks in advance.
