So I am assuming that OMXPlayer is broke, I would like to remove it and replace it with a compiled version of media player from the apps in the source. I feel comfortable compiling it using the NDK but I need to know how to uninstall OMXPlayer. Can anyone help me figure out where it is? As far as I can tell there is no grep.

I am using Honor View 20 for the past 7-8 months and it's been a good device to use except for one flaw. It can't stream/download HD content from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Am I the only one or are there other people suffering from this issue as well? I have contacted Honor support many times but they say the same thing, "we will look into it" every time. The device even has the Widevine L1 certification. Don't know what's the issue here?
Hi, I'm in the UK and I just watched Good Omens in 1080p on amazon prime. So not sure why you can't.

I do notice that if I'm not on WiFi amazon prime shifts down to standard HD, or sometimes SD. So maybe it's bandwidth/latency related.?
I have never been able to get HD streaming on my View 20, no matter on WiFi or mobile internet connection. Are you able to download videos for offline viewing in HD quality? Both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video allow me to download in only SD.
Even I had the same problem before. After the Magic UI 2.1 update I could stream Netflix in HD. Have to verify the same for Amazon Prime Video. Dunno why this phone has this wierd issue even though it supports Widewine L1. This problem's occuring only for select device but not all of View 20's, Strange??

You seem to be somewhat lucky. Ever since the first-ever boot up after the purchase, I have never seen it streaming HD on Netflix/Prime Video. It works fine with other streaming services, don't know what's the issue with those two. My only hope is to wait for Magic UI 3.0 Android 10 update but I am very skeptical even for that.

Android 10 update should fix this issue..Hope for the best.
Même j'ai eu le même problème avant. Après la mise à jour de Magic UI 2.1, je pouvais diffuser Netflix en HD. Je dois vérifier la même chose pour Amazon Prime Video. Je ne sais pas pourquoi ce téléphone a ce problème étrange, même s'il prend en charge Widewine L1. Ce problème ne se produit que sur certains appareils, mais pas sur View 20, Strange

i am using honor view 20 from 1 year and its a great device. but i noticed after getting android 10 update i am not able to stream youtube videos in higher resolution than 480p. whenever i try to change the resolution in YouTube. The max resolution it shows 480p .no matter which video i play. its same for all.
is anyone facing this issue or i m the only one?
PS : I have a fast internet service
