i have now got my mda 3 running again with the kind help from forza, it is running a standard rom and unlocked with an o2 sim but cant use the internet or email as i dont know how to set it to dial o2 internet (still looking for t-mobile as far as i can tell) any help would be very much appreciated

I had a varioII - I have managed to get hold of a new o2 orbit from work. I want to use it with my T-Mobile sim.
I have put all of the gprs settings in, etc and the phone works fine.
It still has all of the o2 branding - i dont mind this but can anyone advise if this will effect the performace of the phone if iam using t-mobile?

So are you using a web n walk £7.50 or £12.50 plan on it then?
I am thinking of doing the same, but someone said T-Mobile their own browser to surf with.
Do you just put the T-Mobile GPRS settings into Orbit and the sim?

I'm on O2 Orbit with T-Mobile Flext 20 & Web & Walk
All works great, and browsing uses the normal internet explorer

The only thing I wish the Orbit did was 3G - the browsing on W & W with a 3G enabled phone is much faster.

My Vario II was upgraded to WM6 by a friend of mine, but my T-Mobile UK internet settings were lost. Could someone please help me how to set the internet (3G) up again!!! Im on the Web'n'Walk contract.
Also... in the WM6 there is now Hdpsa with 3G, are those the same thing.

How do I use MMS and Internet via the mobile network? T-Mobile told me, it is impossible and it is only possible with their MDA Compact 3 version, but not with an HTC version. I can't believe this.
Can anyone help me?
An T-Mobile technician helped me, to do all settings. The GPRS connection seems to work, but sending an MMS is impossible...
The best is, they even told me, that with an unbranded original HTC unit it is impossible, too.
What is your opinion to this?
The T-Mobile image is not usable, because they use a different hw-revision without WLAN...

download that file, it is a program from HTC which sets all your gprs settings correctly
