I just recently upgraded from an XDA 2 to an XDA 2s but unfortunately discovered I could not directly upgrade my XDA 2 active sync to the 2s platform and so had to do a fresh install of Active sync 3.7.1 -version that comes with the XDA 2s.
The trouble i have now is with migrating my SMS messages from the XDA 2 to the 2s. Anybody know what file(s) I need to copy over or how else to do this?
Thanks
Hi!
First of all happy new year.
My problem concern GoSMS but I can findmy answer if someone could explain how work the SFR option of xda application. I can't receive doodle of GoSMS in 3G mode but it work fine in wifi mode! I can surf in 3G on my HTC sensation...
Maybe, I have to configure manualy some thing about the APN in this application because it can't read from my system. This application work fine on an other phone using BouyguesTelecom provider.
Thanks you.

Up!
Could you tell me which modificationare done by checking the FRENCH SFR CARRIER in the XDA option (the last one).
I need it to fix my MMS problem on GoSMS
Thank you.
Within the XDA mobile app, click on the menu button, then click "more", then go to settings. Scroll to the bottom and tick the SFR French option box.

Hello guys.
I configured a SIP account in CM10.1.
However, it only works when I have "Receive incoming calls" option ON.
I only wanted to make calls with that account, not receive. However, if I have that option off I can't make SIP calls. I dial the number, choose the internet call and something I get the message "Number Unreachable" or simply nothing, the phone app closes itself.
But if I have the option ON I can make SIP calls without problems.
Can someone help me? Do you have the same problem?
I'm using allways the latest nightly.
Hmm, I don't think you can make sip calls if you are not registered with the phone server, but I could be wrong. I use csipsimple, it has an on off widget that may be helpful.
I know I can't.. But if I haven't that option on, the phone supposedly connects to the server whenever I make a sip call.
I used that app, but as cm10.1 provides one, I wanted to use it instead

I have found a bug report here : code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=41344 (<-- sorry new user, I can't post link)
You can "star" the issue get notified of changes.
Is anyone else noticing that in their second user profile some of the settings are not available to that user?
Lots of the custom Rom settings appear to be missing in the second profile that are available in the first profile..
Thanks

I believe all addition profiles are supposed to be limited in order to protect the primary profile.

Thanks for the response. That's kind of a bummer because my wife can't customize her profile with paranoid android. All of the custom settings only apply to the main profile.

The additional profiles were always touted as a way to allow your children to use your tablet while protecting them from roaming adult sites, making purchases and accessing you banking apps.

I think there are two types of profiles you can create. One is like for kids and it's based on the primary profile and you can control which apps can be accessed, all of which are apps from the primary profile. The second type creates a completely new profile which must install its own apps.

I am sure this has been covered and sadly I was unable to find any threads on it...I just recently received the G Pro after looking into the Galaxy Mega and this AT&T address book that constantly pops up when contacts is selected is extremely annoying...I have called AT&T twice and they still dont really understand...Is there something I am missing instead of just turning off the sync data?
