Hello community,
i' am using an MDA I (T-Mobile) whit the wired GPS Navigate Mouse Kit. If i woud buy an MDA III oder the small MDA Compact, can I use this wired Mouse or must i buy the "BlueKit" ( ~ 170 € ) too.
Thanks a lot for help!

See this thread where someone modified a USB GPS unit to work with the XDA serial port -- note that the newer MDA III or MDA compact may have slightly different connector pinouts than the MDA I. If you visit the appropriate device-specific forums here, you should be able to figure out how to accommodate the new pinouts.
Im looking to purchace your broken, faulty, 2s varients like the MDA III, SPV M2000's etc

Can anyone confirm (preferrably from their own experience) if the connector plugs of the XDA II, IIs, and IIi are compatible? i'm looking for a retractable usb sync n charge plug but all i see here in the philippines are marked for use with the XDA II. a shop salesperson mentioned to me that they should be compatible but i dont wanna fry my device on the word of a salesperson who may or may not know what he's talking about. i've done some searching in the forums but i seem to be getting conflicting answers.
Yes
I bought a serial cable today for xdai compatible with xda2
XDA II and XDA IIi are compatible together
not with XDA IIs
Hmmm... i was afraid of that. I'm using an XDA IIs btw. I guess i'll either have to wait for IIs accessories to come in or order over the net. Thanks for the info guys.
I have cracked the screen on my MDA III, i was wondering if i could replace the screen unit myself with one from another phone. If possible would have to be an MDA III or would the unit from an XDA IIs be surfice?
Any answers given would be greatly appreciated...
Cheers Graham Dixon.
