Please Help me!

Hi everybody,
I want to downgrade my bootloader from 6.22 to 5.15. But I always failed to do so....The toold is downloaded from http://xda-developers.com/XDAtools/. I am sure I did everything as the instructions.
C:\Program Files\XDAtools\binaries>pnewbootloader bootloader_v5_15.nb0
'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
ERROR: ITReadProcessMemory - Unspecified error
Unable to find flash info offset, cannot disable bootloader writeprotect
in this case, pls help me. great thanks

Did u try copying a cooked ROM directly to your device using XDAtools ? ... if works, it will update your boot loader to 5.15

Thanks a lot. But anyway, could you please give me more details advise how to use XDAtools in this issue? Actually, I still don't know how to do it at moment. I only know how to use SD card to upgarde.

connect the xda to the cradle and make a sync ... run XDAtools and select the source to be the cooked ROM as .nbf or .nb1 file and the destination to be the Device ROM. Make sure the power is connected and press COPY.
Note: you can also right-click on the .nbf file and in the context menu you will see "Burn" option. It's the same as above.

Does it support on different brand ROM, I means if it is possible to burn TMobile ROM into my XDA via this way?

The problem you have here is that Windows is not happy about the program being run from a directory with a space in it. Hence OS trying to load C:\Program instead of following the full file path to the pnewbootloader program. I would suggest creating another directory on your machine with no spaces in the directory and running it from there.

i can't delete files on my extended rom

I have 15 Mb of space on my Extended Rom and i would like to resize it to less space ... so what i did is:
1) revert back from WM2005 to WM2003
2) installed the "ExtRoom Tools",
3) Unhide the ExtRooms
4) When i'm trying to Unlock the ExtRomi'm gettind the following messages, "debug:Error", "debug:FL_IOCTL_BDTL_HW_PROTECTION", "debug:a device connected do the system dosen't work" ????
5) when i'm trying to use "Reaprt_Doc" resizeing the ExtRom (4096 KB)i'm getting the following message: "Error:FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVE failed"
So what's wrong !!!

Ok i've understud !!
The only way to unlock than resize the "Extended Rom" is using an english rom !!!

how can a Xda cosmo flash the wm6??

i have a unlocked xda cosmo . when i flash the tmobile wm6 beta , the programm says that the model id is invaliad. i've tried first flashing the tmobile wm5 and than the wm6 , but it doesn't work. does anyone have any ideas?? thanks a lot!

yeah!i have emailed imeicheck and they rplied me in 5 minutes!i have successfully flashed my cosmo!!
this is the way to flash it!
Tools you need:
===============
- HexWorkshop from http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads/-
the ROM of your choice
- Winzip or Winrar
- a valid UNL file for YOUR phone
Preparation:
============
a) install HexWorkshop and Winzip or Winrar on your pc
b) in explorer on pc, RIGHT click on the ROM of your choice and use: "Extract files to folder ..." from conext menu Now it will unpack all the files
c) in the new folder you will have ONE file like "HRUU_signed.NBH" (*.NBH) RIGHT click on the .NBH file and use: "Hex Edit with Hex Workshop" from context menu
d) You'll see on the 5th row EXCA20000 ==> !!! make it EXCA***** (5 stars) and save the file
e) Now RIGHT click on ROMUpdateUtility.exe and use: "Hex Edit with Hex Workshop" from conext menu
Search for word "BsaD5SeoA" (without quotes, case sensitive)
You'll find it around address 0x3FC6C ==> !!! replace "BsaD5SeoA" with "IMEICHECK" (without quotes) and save the file
ROM-Update:
===========
1) take SIM card and SD card OUT of the phone
2) Connect the phone running windows ce to the pc (normal way).
3) Completely Unlock your phone using our unlocker <== REALLY IMPORTANT
4) After phone is unlocked run unlocker (again) BUT when the unlocker ask for UNL file, remove the USB cable from the phone THEN press "Cancel" on the unlocker select file window (unlocker will close on PC). NOTE: The screen on the device will not show something usefull when in this mode. Most probably it is complete WHITE. !!THIS IS NORMAL!! Don't touch phone, let it like it is!
5) After you closed the unlocker, attach usb cable again (phone has still white screen) 6) start (the modified) ROMUpdateUtility.exe
7) when update finished and device started you will get a message: "Data Crashed, contact service provider" (!NO PANIC!) ==> Simply fix this problem by running the unlocker again and this time select the key file normal way (full unlock process again). In case you have problems please indicate the step letter/number which is not clear/not working for you. If you REALLY do it STEP by STEP exact like described you will have no problem.

i tried this several times with no luck. i downloaded the two files and when i tried to run the romupdater prog nothing happens. the program will not start no matter how many times i try. any suggestions?

i think i got it to work now. i had downloaded the two files but had not copied them into the folder that had the extracted rom in it. i was getting stuck at the point where you pull cable out instead of selecting the unlock file. once i had already copied the files over i started all over again and when i got to the step where you disconnect and run the new romupgrade.exe i opened the file where the rom was and clicked the upgrade.exe file and the rest went very smooth and quick.

but the beta rom is indeed unstable. i hope the final version will soon out!!

help!! having trouble unlocking bootloader

i registered on htc dev website and followed all the instructions up to the point of getting the bootloader code from fastboot cmd, i then pasted the code in the box and hit submit then i got this error:
Unlocking Bootloader Failed!
We're sorry, but it appears your attempt to unlock the bootloader on this device has failed. This could be caused by several factors including simple errors in the entry of the unlock token, problems with your device, or a lack of manufacturer support for the unlocking process. Please see the specific error code listed below, and try again if necessary.
Error Code: 122.
Error Reason: Email cannot be sent.

Do 1 thing.....
Copy that code and first paste it into notepad without any spaces....
Once done copy the same code from notepad and paste it into the required field of htc dev. Com

[Q] How to use other operator sim in Softbank(JP) 001HT (HTC desire HD)?

I bought this HTC desire hd from Softbank, Japan and used for 2 years as per contract. Now I have tried to use other operator sim (another country), but showed 'invalid sim'
Next, I 've tried install custom rom (cm7.2)
As 1st step, I have unlocked bootloader using HTCDev.
But this is my failure list while trying next steps:-
1. Tried ROM manager v5.5.2.3
>>> BUT it shows "You must root ur phone for rom Manager to function"
2. (to root) Tried to downgrade (technically update) to Softbank JP from 2.64.762.3 to 2.37.762.2 (RUU_..._S_SoftBank_JP_2.37.762.2 ....)
>>> BUT this msg shown
Error [155]: UNKNOWN ERROR
Please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again.
3. (leaned to root, s-off needed) Tried s-off following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221039

If you have used the device for 2 years, you can contact softbank to get the Sim unlock code. That is the best way to unlock your device.

I did. Softbank said they do not support or provide any unlocking code.
Recently I bought unlock code from unlock-zoneDotcom ... but there is no prompt to enter this code (after new sim insertion)
instead asked to enter "SIM network subset unlock PIN" which is neither that unlock code nor pin of sim.

I tried to follow the link's instruction. (for that purpose installed ubuntu+android sdk)
The 1st step was "adb shell dd if=/dev/blo...."
>> BUT got this msg "cannot open for read: Permission denied" (in fact from win7 got similar msg)
One clarification request: does "root only" means root access? Of so, it seems like a loop: s-off <-> roor access
Any help please?
