I use my MDA Pro on the Vodafone network and finally changed the T-Mobile logo on the dialer pad to Vodafone. As I do like the Today screen on the VPA IV I wonder whether someone has it and could share it with me ...
Are there any screenshots of the VOdafone interface ?? or Skin ?

I really enjoy above mentions WM6 ROMs, but both produce nothing else as green noise in the cameras for Hermes 100.
Is this known?

I have used 3 sleuth ROMs and i have used the all of the black ROMS (2.5->Satin), i can verify that i have had a camera in all of the ROMs used and nothing funny going on.
I have O2 XDA Trion
does that answer your question? (remember its sunday and you prob wont get fast answers today, just before you start getting pissed no-one is answering you straight away!!!)
i've got both an xda trion and spv m3100 (both HTC hermes)
and have never had this problem on any ROM

I have no issue with either Black MAJIK or SATIN but I have a Hermes 300. Are you implying that the camera issues might be the fault uniquely of the Hermes 100? There are people that have issues with their camera sand I have seen a post implying that they are potentially hardware (loose connector) issues.
Sorry I cannoy help more - I notice that none of the other people responding to your post say what Hermes version they have.
BTW - for anyone that wants to know look in settings-Device information-Identity (top entry = Model No).

i have a cingular Herm 100 and have no issues with my camera its better with the newer build than ever before. still sucks in low light but outside on a sunny day its amazing how good it is.
I've never had a issue with my camera in any build, which I've used all of the Black variants....

i mean look at the iphone 3g, i think its price right now is 99 with 2 years..
dont get me wrong im proqabably going to get the dash3g anyways but the price just sucks.

I finally got my snap yesterday (HTC branded) and yes it is shipping with 6.1 if one is interrested I can probably dump the language files and we could add those languages to the 6.1 ROM for the dash ??

Got mine today... Do we have any idea how to make the up/down buttons on the side actually scroll as opposed to just controlling system volume?

The Dash1 is not 3g compatable if thats what your suggesting. You just have to upgrade to the snap!

Because a lot of Dash (excal) users want it, so its a good place to post updates since the Maple forum here on xda deals with the UK version not the T-Mobile version, which will change as more people get the T-Mo version.

snap(usa) is a different version phone it looks like the excalbur but when you look at it the excalibur has the ball to scroll as the snap(usa) has the d pad, the snap(usa) in comparison to the dash is smaller and is the keypad is kind of close to each other. the buttons on the snap(usa) is blue to which as the button on the excalibur is red. the snap(usa) has a button on it to open inner circle the excalibur doesnt come with inner circle the snap is from a differnent wireles company i think at&t i cant remember but the excalibur is for tmobile so in a way they are kind of the same but they are on different cell phone companies....with that being said it still comes with the same wm6.1 on both phones but i think in europe and asia it has the rolling ball as the scroller so that what makes them very similar but in the us its going to be different from each other

Doesn't look like it has GPS? My work just got me this cheap sanyo phone for 50 bucks and it has gps on it, and now I don't think I'd ever by a phone without it.

Hi, i just got another dash from a friend.
and this one is made in taiwan.
is it better than my Made in china one?
is there a difference?
the differences that I notices are:
the Taiwan screen is dimmer. low contrast?
China screen is brighter, more contrast
Taiwan keypad is purple color LED
China is blue Color LED
I searched, and i read Taiwan can over color to 288, so far it's not working,

for some reason, when i try to use a backup and restore it into the taiwan one, it thinks it's a different phone.

from your description it sounds like the one made in china has better quality.
It's one of them that just because it's from a certain country doesn't gurantee, has been known taiwan are meant to be better to OC but i think it's pick of the bunch, ya getz me
Did you update your firmware to one of good roms from here? It maybe explain why yours is brighter,higher contract..., etc.
I installed the same rom into both of them.
i also noticed for the china one, when i use the file explorer to look at programs without an icon, the icon flickers. (omap clock for example)
but for the taiwan one, theres no flickering.
does programs like omapclock flicker for u guys?
China one looks brighter and sharper, but the color seems more washed out.
the taiwan one seems to have better white.
I have a black dash that was made in china and the screen is noticeably brighter than my silver dash that isn't very old with the same wm6 rom.
Can you read the new one (Taiwan made) under direct sun light? If you can, it should be a better screen.

There can be differences between s620 & s621 some of the s621's where without wi-fi

I've not noticed about wi fi, maybe is a difference...
But mine have wifi and works very Well (thanks to god!!!)
But one thing is equal in all models, they're amazing
just wonder,
when u look at black on ur taiwan made ones, does it look negative? like funky looking?
can't explain it. almost like theres no light behind the black.
and when i use the china one. the black looks black. like backlit black.
i wonder if theres something wrong with the china lcd.

Just had a system update from Voda, was only 19mb so knew it wasn't Froyo but hoped it might be a stepping stone to it. Instead I've now got a Voda boot screen and cheap looking Voda 360 icons in my menus :-(
