Now only had I-mate and O2 ROM,Orange ROM not release yet
i want someone to rip the rom off there M5000 and post on in the normal place if that is possible

There no way to dump rom out from Universal , seach this forum you can find your answer.

i upgraded my BA IIs from PPC2003 to WM5. and i also downgraded the same device back to PPC2003. but how can i get the original factory ROM which is i first brought from the reseller? the one that i get is a patch version, which do not have the O2 Connect in it.

i think you can get it from o2 website, either o2.co.uk or see02.com. for me the best rom is from t-mobile nl 1.42 and i bought mine from o2 uk.

Just re formated my pc and stupid me i didn't do back up for it
Ive tried three times to download it from the official web but always corrupted some how..

Official ROM, you can go to your provider website.
Cooked ROM, only Jwrightmcps release SPV M5000, but only WM6.
Anyway, it does not matter, after flashing, just change the splash screen to SPV M5000 and it looks like SPV M5000 ROM.

There is no official WM6 rom from Orange yet for the m3100. the link posted by member "yaky" is the latest rom, but still only WM5.

I have a SPV M700 from Orange Romania, with original software. I just unlocked it and installed latest Hard SPL.
I plan to upgrade it to Karmba 7.2. I will use the advices from trinityguides.
The question is: how can I backup my settings and maybe roll back to original ROM in case of warranty need?
