Is there any real benefit to upgrade the exec Rom to I-mate?
If so how do I do it? I cant find a link anywhere?
Is this process reversible? In case I need to use my warranty?
hi , i don know about I-mate ROM , but very informative thing is many of the O2 EXEC users facing problem like NO GSM, NO IMEI, now the problem is solved , install I-mate ROM in ur O2 EXEC ,, it works ...!!! its working in South africa and Dubai with 3G .. !!!!!

I'm glad you have found a solution. However, as many of us read multiple threads you don't need to post in all of them.

I am from Sydnay Australia and i have just recently boughtan o2 XDA executive from the Uk. I have since had probelms operating the unit, as i cannot get passed the o2 start up screen and the only button that seems to work is the reset button.
Can someone please help?

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade the ROM for O2 MINI XDA S.
I have downloaded the ftp file from ftp. Presently i have German OS installed in my xda. I want to chage it to English.
Pleasse tell me the procedure of how to upgrade the ROM. I tried to search in wiki, but it is still not available.

hello people and thanks for looking. Right I would like to upgrade my
SPV M3100 to wm6, but i have no idea how. I have read through some stickys n some other threads but tbh im confused, all i get gather is i need to install hard spl ( what ever that is) then upgrade my rom using usb. The phone was on ornage but i unlocked it, now on three 3g.
here are what the id and info about my phone is :

ROM version 2.11.61.3
ROM date 5/21/07

Hello lloyd, as you can see from all the offers of help that you received, this site is full of big heads who claim to be geniuses, but when faced with a simple question reply that you should read more!
Unfortunately, it appears that most of the contributors are so illiterate and self centered that they do not have time to help people with genuine problems.
For the last six months, I have been trying to upgrade my rom, only to find links that do not work and instructions that are incomplete.
If you want any real help, you will not find it on this website.

You need to read more and if you have questions ask them in the thread where you found the software.

I have read everything about unlocking an flashing baut i still have a problem.
i would like to know which rom ( in FRENCH) is the bes one for the moment and which radio version also.
i know there are plenty of them, but i 'd rather have the expert choice.
