Hello! I'm 13 and obviously am not going to be near as knowledgable on the subject as you guys. My situation is I "accidently" :wink: cracked my screen on my Audiovox PPC4100 so I just grabbed the SX66 from cingular. Issue is I am trying to decide whether or not to upgrade my ROM to WM2005....Now Now, I do know there has been a thread about debating whether to upgrade to WM2005 because of loss of features, but mine is more of a "How bad am I going to screw this up?" debate. Do you suggest me to give it a shot? Or when a more stable version comes out, will it be an easier installation process?

I had 2 x wallaby and one himalaya before, yesterday bought brand new ( yes I know that that is weird but it is brand new) BA...
On the himalaya I had perfectly operational wm5 and BA unfortunatly came with 2003se... I miss wm5 a bit so do you have any impressions about wm5 at BA, is there a version that function 100% ok and is it much slower than 2003 se ?

There is also WM6 for BA now.

EDIT: I can't say if it will work 100% properly. I haven't used WM5 on mine yet, but I can say that WM6 (although it is not bad) has its bugs. Some can be fixed, for some there are work-arounds, but there are also some bugs which I couldn't fix yet and I think it will never work as good as a original version from the manufacturer / provider (and I guess there won't be such versions for BA).

i have this model too. but there's no available wm6 for rw6815. one i found was wm5 rom update till 24 Jul 2007.
rw6815 is the same as the atom exec, there are couple of WM6 roms out on the atom forum.

I'm not trying to cheat my customer... I'm only had Dopod 818 and imate jam case, and his accept to use Dopod818... ;-)

I have been using i-mate JAMA for last few years and I am very much addicted in using it and experimenting lot of stuff that goes over this forum.
I had upgraded to WM6.1 and now, my phone has got minor damages on the panel. As I can not afford a new mobile (being jobless for a while), I am thinking to source a faceplate for the same and replace it?
I had searched for the same through google, but could not find much help.
I request you all the esteemed members throw some light on where to get the compatible faceplate for my i-mate JAMA?
