Is it possible to dump the actual content od My phone so that if I don't like how it works in wm6.1 I can load averything in a few moments?
Regards.
I use sprite backup to accomplish this. You also need to keep a copy of your old rom's install so to restore your device, you reflash with the old rom, and then restore from the backup.
But It Restore Everything. Apps Contacts Etc Etc
please. does it restore everything or just contacts???

Hi,
I just received my note 2 and I would like to know how to backup the entire system (ROM) with the overlay operator.
thank you,
What is the overlay operator? Never heard of that before...
The best way for a complete backup is something called a Nandroid backup, which you do via CWM (ClockworkMOD Recovery).
Check out this awesome tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956
It will let you do everything from root to Nandroid backups, it's very easy to use!

When you upgrade/downgrade or factory reset or change roms..just install titanium backup again and you will be able to restore the backup of you app/game..the backup directory of the app is /sdcard/TitaniumBackup but the backups are compressed so you need to restore them from within the app itself..the backups should be there forever unless you format your sdcard
And yes your thread is in the wrong section..this should be in the Q&A forum..
Hit THANKS if this helped you!!

1) can you have more than one backup?( like a venom viper rom backup and a stock rom backup and android revolution backup?)
2) if you can have more than one backup can i basically switch from rom to rom, ( performing a factory reset then backing that preferred rom)
3) is there any way i can backup my apps on my phone to be restored when i install a new rom without having to pay, like titanium backup, you need to pay the pro version for dropbox.

You can have as many backups as the phones memory can hold, and switch back and forth between them freeley with a full wipe in between (excluding the sdcard of course).
Check out nandroid manager on the market. It can pull your apps and their data from a nandroid backup and restore them to your current rom.
