WM2005 with MMS and GPRS issues! - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hi all
I've installed the patch 2 of WM2005 on my blueangel. Also have installed the MMS cab to enable MMS. However when i try to send a composed MMS the GPRS connection cuts off half way through sending. If i keep trying to send the message, the same happens
Has anyone else had this problem and have they managed to fix it?
Also just want to thank all who have contributed in making the beta WM2005 on the blueangels, work.....very talented people
Thank you all
Jay

**POOF** MMS has vanished!!

A very strange thing has happened.
I noticed today that all things MMS have disapeared from my phone.
When i go into messaging all it has is TXT messages and Outlook E-Email.
Where did my MMS stuff go you ask... good question.
I know it was there after i flashed my rom, but i dont' konw how long it has been missing for now. I only found out today as someone tried to send me an MMS.
All the cab files I can find seem to only be for inputing the settings, which is kind of useless given that fact that I can't see any MMS stuff.
Have i just overlooked something is there a setting that will just turn my MMS back on.
MMMMMMMM could it be that simple.
Thanks for the help.
Did you NOT try to back up with SKTools?
Same here, no more MMS entries in the messaging app??
I don't use MMS so frequent, so I didn't notice it until I checked now
So, it's not a real problem for me, just wanted to report it.
I'm running a german rom, cooked with the rom kitchen by bepe.
radio rom 1.40.

I am running BE 2.0 with Optus and MMS is working fine. Did you use Walshieau operator settings cab? It has the Optus settings. You may need to edit the MMS server settings so check them after you have run the cab.
Guys we are getting off topic.
This post is NOT about MMS settings or Send/Receive problems there are stacks of threads that talk about that. Please go and post there.
This topic is about missing the MMS module all togeather.

I do have a full backup of the Phone with SBP but it was done after the MMS module disapeared, so probably no good.
Is there anyone that might be able to shed some light on this problem.
Cheers
That being said
Sorry to be a pain..
Does anyone have any idea how to get back my missing MMS module.
I would like to avoid having to hard reset my device if i could.
Thanks again.
Travis
yeah u get that. tings r tuff all round. it happens.
try any one or more of the following
reinstall your cab file.
try to add a new from scratch and input it all from start.
hard reset ur device n rebuild
search for the create link cab file and it might re establish
restore from a previous backup
one of these will definitely fix it. suggest to prevent future occurances
be gentle to ur device
stroke it regularly
give it some gentle words occassionally
dont drop your device
dont get it wet
dont yell at it
buy it flowers occassionally
oooohhhh and yeah use backup software so you can just restore the system and move on without wasting peoples time whinging complaing and moaning over minor infrequent and incidental stuff

Thanks, do you konw where to find the cab file for Vodafone Australia.
I had a look at the provider cabs on the Wiki but it was not there.
Can you tell me where i can get it from.
I can't add a new one because i can't access the MMS settings as it is completely missing.
Other options are a last resort.
Cheers and thanks

At&t mms problem

hello great people i have an
8525 hard splv7
schap's 4.0
radio 1.40.30
32.73.7020.16h
when i had wm5 i could send up to 600kb of data in a mms message now on wm6 i can only send 300kb, i would like to know is there a way to get back up to 600k with out going back to wm5 or is there another rom i can flash to thanks in advance i studied these pages exactly two weeks to get all the info i needed and this is the only problem that i have come across thanks again and donations are on the way
Open messaging...then click menu>tools>options, here you should se all of your accounts. Click MMS, then along the bottom select servers, click Cingular MMS. Then you should be at a screen to change the sending size limitation.
All that may depend on what messaging build you have..but it should be close.
thank you i tried that and the limit is only 300kb i say somewhere on here that you can you use arcsoftmms to change the limit but that was a mogul someone was trying to get up and running for alltel but could i use that program

Softbank MMS settings, please.

What do I have to do to get MMS to work on the Softbank (network)? I used the info I found Here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276643&page=1
But, that is for the TyTN I think, so I can't seem to get the MMS right. I got the internet to finally work, but MMS always gives an error...if someone can help I would appreciate it, TIA.
Oh yeah, and the same goes for normal Text massages as well, I cant seem to get those to send out either, please help, thanks.

Where is this located cause I cannot seem to find it, thank you.
Problem in MMS
Network wizard does not help the problem. I think there is a problem in MMS in win 6.1 and I am still looking for solution. I checked all setup required for MMS to work and I have them all right but still my MMS sits in Outbox and never goes out.
