How do I put it in bootloader mode?

You can put your phone in bootloader mode by
1) power OFF your phone
2) press and hold the LEFT navi-key
3) power ON your phone
But... The tool doesn't work. It always says
Code:
Cannot access the phone (verify that WCESCOMM is terminated and the phone is in bootloader mode) - aborting

Hi!
Link is not working..please re-up....

Click to collapse
Yes, there should be. You need to enter fastboot mode on the phone - i.e you need to get into the bootloader screen. The bootloader screen (usually called fastboot mode) will tell you if the bootloader and FRP are locked or unlocked - If it is locked, you should see "PHONE Locked" and "FRP Lock" in green, otherwise it should say "PHONE Unlocked" and "FRP Unlock" in red if the phone has been properly unlocked.
You can enter fastboot mode by either using ADB ("adb reboot bootloader", first make sure to enable developer options first as detailed in the Rooting guide, and then enabled USB debugging), or by first shutting down the phone and then powering it up while holding down the VOLDN (Volume Down) key. Of the two methods, I'd recommend the ADB method because the hardware keys method is usually hit-or-miss for me - sometimes it takes me to the bootloader, sometimes it boots normally into the ROM.
If you're on Windows and need the ADB and fastboot binaries, you can install the "15-second ADB installer" found in this thread.
Thanks, that worked, took me a while to figure everything out...
and it appears that my device is unlocked...

Samsung Note 10+ N975F; kylo ren picture right after start, boot loop

Has done, if no longer needed can be deleted
solved
Download Mode:
1 Step: Device switched off
2 Step: Keep volume up and down pressed
3 Step: Connect the keys to a PC via USB-C while keeping them pressed
Hi Guys,
I bought a Note+ (N975f, DBT) used. Since it has a crack on the front and was therefore cheap, I wanted to root it.
because as a newbie I am not allowed to insert external links, here only hints:
Following the instructions of topjohnwu with Magisk
However, it did not work. It is always at this point, red marked:
"Unlocking Bootloader
Unlocking BL on modern Samsung devices have some caveats, so I figure this would be helpful.
Allow bootloader unlocking in Developer options → OEM unlocking
Reboot to download mode: reboot and press the download mode key combo for your device.
Long press volume up to unlock the bootloader. This will wipe your data and automatically reboot.
failed.
In download mode when pressing Vol + key the following appears in red
"Reboot Recovery Cause: BL: Recovery Mode Set by key"
I have tried several times and I got this version from
samfw firmware/SM-N975F/DBT/N975FXXU6DTJ4
is used.
I assumed that it is because of the firmware then I used this version
SM-N975F_10_20201103172903_jy9pngyoln_fac
from Frija is used.
For flashing I used Odin3-v3.14.4.
After the last try with the version from Frija (Odin didn't show an error) a screen with a photo of the mask of Kylo Ren appears after Samsung. After 1 minute it starts again.
it is this picture
soyacincau 2019/11/191120-samsung-note-10-wallpaper-preview jpg
In Odin it is detected, but flashing again is not possible it stops at "SetupConnection".
I can only turn off the phone when it is connected to the PC and hold down Bixy/Power + Vol up.
Can I still save it, if so how?
Thanks in advance

Is my bootloader properly unlocked?

Hello.
Following the Magisk installation guide here (and cross checking with other source), once I have unlocked the Bootloader via OEM unlocking in the developer options, I still need to restart the device in download mode and long hold the volume up key. Looking at some bootloader another Samsung bootloader unlocking guide, it seems that there should be a warning screen where I can press volume up to "Continue" (into download mode), long press volume up for "Device unlock mode" (i.e. unlock bootloader) or volume down to cancel and restart the phone.
However, in my case, there is no long press volume up options, and if I try to long press, it would just register the volume up press and directly send me to download mode.
Perhaps as a result, the OEM unlocking option is never "Greyed out" (it does say Bootloader is already unlocked though).
Is this normal on the Tab S4? Does the VaultKeeper service exist in the Tab S4?
(I am on Android 10, March 2021 security update)
Thanks.
It should be unlocked, I am not sure.
If you flash twrp, PLEASE Disable auto reboot in the Odin options tab.
我也是这种情况。降级时提示bl没有解锁,但我已经解锁了oem并重启提示bl已经解锁。如果你成功了,给我看看
